It’s 2021 & I still find myself going back & watching Emily & Peewee Toms. Their voices & attitudes are comforting in this crazy time we are living in.
Yes I am so happy you say that.. my mother went through cancer earlier this year and survived, but I began watching there channels around that time to prepare my self for what was to come.. and I still am watching, it’s a great reminder of what we have, and how special time is.
far from the truth ... it just shows the bullshit society feeds into our heads with void positivity totally detached from reality. Let's all be positive and hold our hands. I admire her impetus in going further but the positivity stuff is just bullshit in big piles
2023 and I'm hear watching Emily because I miss her face! ..I was thinking if Emily had been still around during the pandemic she would of hated it as she was so into the gym and her chicken nando's! In was respect it's good the pandemic came when it did as Emily wanted to be out experience things because she new her time was limited ...covid prevented that for so many when their lives were short of time! ..she really did make sure she put so many amazing experiences into her time ...we miss you Emily ..❤❤

Me too just rewatching all Emily’s videos. I used to message her on Instagram when she started her vlogs and had quite a few replies. She was so brave and just amazing really and miss her vlogs and fight ☝️

Firstly let me say I’m upset that your cancer is back, I’ve never met you but I feel like I’m watching a friend go through this shit! Emily my wife was on debrafenib and trametinib before Keytruda, side effects of the tablets can be harsh, joint pain, fever, chills and some of her hair fell out. Get plenty of rest and drink plenty of water. I don’t want to say “good luck” as that implies you need it, you’ll get through this because of your incredible attitude! Your a warrior, kick cancer to the kerb!! Love from down under.

I know I'm painting a broad brush stroke here but the English seem to have and retain great humour when dealing with illness/adversity. God bless her soul. A vibrant funny young lady taken too soon, and now resting in eternal peace.
SM Stiff upper lip and gallows humour will see us through and of course bravery which Emily possessed in abundance. Such a sad loss, way way to young to go all her life ahead.

Maybe I'm desperate because my sister has phase 4 cancer and so I have been feverishly researching new medications and treatments for her but I find she has a laissez-faire attitude. Maybe she's resigned to dying, or at peace with it. Maybe it's my own mourning I must deal with.
Oh precious angel Em. I miss your fighting spirit, your cheeky laugh and I still really don't want to believe that you are gone. It just doesn't seem possible. I know that all these doctors and nurses you saw were trying their best to get you the best treatment, but in hindsight I realise they all knew you were coming to the end because of the spread to the bone.... the bone marrow is where our blood is made so that immediately opens the floodgates for metastases and sure enough, not long after this, it spread to the brain. I'm so sad but I can only go back and watch these vids where she was still very active in spite of needing morphine for pain. What a beautiful soul. Fly high darling angel xxx

I love this girls spirit. She was brilliant and funny. This documentary that she made before she left this little weird and wonderful world has given us as close of an understanding about what cancer is like and what she went through. It's weird watching this knowing that the nurse Peta was so upset because she knew the cancer spreading meant the immunotherapy had stopped working and so it was terminal, but it was still days before they told Emily.

you're such an incredibly positive person, i cant imagine responding like that to the news that i had cancer. even later on, when the news was getting worse and worse, you were always maybe momentarily stumped but then a minute later you were getting mcdonalds or buying trainers with a smile on your face. your positivity is genuinely so inspirational. its so sad that i'm writing this to a ghost, but i thought i'd share anyway. You go girl! Good for requesting scans without advocating for yourself sometimes things don’t get done. Although Peta seems like she is awesome and is the boss nurse.....pushing for scans early saved my moms life so far....chemo is brutal and not for the weak of heart....show that cancer who is boss!!!! My friend of 24 years died this past January of cancer he was 39 the last thing he said was Im not going to be o this earth for much longer I can feel it. he wanted to make it for WWE but he died at 4am on that day then i lost my dog the next day its been very hard but im happy they are out of pain now x

Wow Emily...I watch you and see my future path in your present life. It is unfair that cancer can be so devastating. I just lost my Dad two weeks before Christmas from bladder cancer. I have now lost five family members to cancer..various ones. It is now my turn... I was diagnosed with Malignant melanoma a year ago and had my first op. My lower right arm of all places..Put me out for six weeks. They found another one on my back six months later and had the same operation on that too. My next check up is in two weeks and I know I have more on my back with the itching and soreness. I also have been having sore lypmh nodes under my arm which at times they get hard and send pain to my groin. I hope your feeling better today and that the pain in under better control. I would love to email you to be a cancer friend....take care you special girl.

I’m humbled when I watch you and Aisha (sorry if I’ve spelt her name wrong) . She is an amazing support to you.....and she has fab taste in bags lol 🐭🎀👠. Wish I could wave a magic wand and make it all go away for you. My surgeon has found a lesion on my wrist bone and an old fracture that I had no idea about and I’m waiting for further investigations but I have a lot of pain so that’s not a good sign. You’re positivity helps me to stay optimistic. You have been a true inspiration Em.....you are awesEM. 😘
Maybe more frequent scans are needed in patients with your history. The tumour has been bothering you for ages but no scans done before your holiday ?Hugs

So very sorry to hear about the disease progression. Dabrafenib and trametinib are a good treatment with a high response rate. As you know, fever is a common side effect but the RMH team are great and will get you through. Stay strong. xx

My next check up is in two weeks and I know I have more on my back with the itching and soreness. I also have been having sore lypmh nodes under my arm which at times they get hard and send pain to my groin. I hope your feeling better today and that the pain in under better control. I’m humbled when I watch you and Aisha (sorry if I’ve spelt her name wrong) . She is an amazing support to you.....and she has fab taste in bags lol 🐭🎀👠. Wish I could wave a magic wand and make it all go away for you. My surgeon has found a lesion on my wrist bone and an old fracture that I had no idea about and I’m waiting for further investigations but I have a lot of pain so that’s not a good sign. You’re positivity helps me to stay optimistic. You have been a true inspiration Em.....you are awesEM. 😘
Maybe more frequent scans are needed in patients with your history. The tumour has been bothering you for ages but no scans done before your holiday ?Hugs
I’m so sorry Emily. I fucking hate cancer! I don’t know how you girls stay so strong. You’re amazing. I just found out my 2nd dog in 4 months has untreatable cancer and I can’t stop crying. I admire your strength. You have this girl!

So very sorry to hear about the disease progression. Dabrafenib and trametinib are a good treatment with a high response rate. As you know, fever is a common side effect but the RMH team are great and will get you through. Stay strong. xx
