I have no idea why The Algorithm decided to recommend your video on The Park--which is merely Very Good--and not this, the Greatest Challenge Run Video Of All Time.
Hah, thanks! And that's my sentiment exactly. I definitely like my The Park video, but this is the one that I think covers something far more interesting. But hey, that's just how the algorithm rolls sometimes!
Me too! I like your commentary and your music choice (Bad Apple!! is sick tho and Persona Striker-soudtracks? I'm doublling (?) down for your future vids😁)
Came here after watching your Park video. Appreciate you taking the time to highlight this game(especially doing such a rare challenge) I was the voice of Lenard for this, so it was fun to see an in depth look at NOT hurting my fellow puppets, lol.
Congratulations you've gotten the true golden ending by doing this you made it so that way the show would be as successful as possible with a full cast
So I'm here like a number o f people, because my recommended section promoted your "the park" video. You are absolutely hilarious and your jokes are right up my demented ally.
For some reason the algorithm sent us your 'the park' video- possibly because negativity invites strong feelings and that's social media's bread and butter- And we all collectively decided to check out your challenge run. And im glad i did, at least. If not for the skilled gameplay, the worlds first curtain call skip or anything like that, than at least for bad apple!! sung by the tf2 guys. My god was that beautiful
Algorithm: Here's a video about negativity! You want that, right? Audience: Oh look! A video about not only helping friendly puppets, but doing so without any form of violence throughout despite the developer's best efforts!
11:55 i didn't expect to see junebug just rush straight into view and run away from the elevator as soon as you enter it- she really just went "oh nevermind"
Resident Evil but make it Muppets is precisely why I love this game. It's legit good. Also lol I'm glad the algorithm was all "Hey watch this guy's review of The Park" because the reviews here are genuinely entertaining.
idk if this makes me a bad person, but your string of jokes relating to the second amendment took me from "oh this guy's funny" to "omfg he went there... lemme just find that subscribe button real quick", holy moly
DUDE MFN CONTENT!!! The game has gotten unfairly snubbed from its rightful place in the popular mascot(?) horror sphere!! Love ur humor, came here from The Park video and I am TOTALLY subbed!!!!!
While you're 'The Park' video has already done a lot to boost your channel, here's my dime in the algorithm bucket to boost this video specifically. It takes skill to make both talking about something you love, and something you find incredibly bad equally entertaining. A lot of people either lean so hard into the things they hate that that's all they know how to do, or can only express frustration/criticism in an entertaining way for a little bit before running out of cleaver things to say. Not trying to knock people who only do one or the other, but rather highlight how impressive it is when someone can clearly express their negative and positive experiences in equally entertaining ways. This video deserves just as much recognition as the video that is currently blowing up on your channel. I was a little worried how your next video would go. I've seen people blow up from one video, then are unable to follow it up in terms of quality. After seeing this, I'm now fairly confident in your skills as a content creator, and look forward to it.
Also here from your The Park video, checked this out like you recommended! Also a fan of Spiff, so it's cool to see him inspiring other people do do convoluted challenge runs of games like this :D! TF2 Merc Bad Apple was something I never knew I needed in my life and now I have to send it to my brothers who used to play. Thanks!
@@CheeseYeen I always loved challenge runs and make up my own for games. For this one, I did a wrench only. Not very original, but I found it fun and satisfying. Looking forward to attempt this pacifist run instead now!
Oh there are TONS of secrets and goodies outside the maps- everything from concept art, photos of cats, and even just puppets posed in silly ways. They had a TON of fun making this game and it's just another reason I love it so much.
I just found your channel and I’m sort of in love. Very happy to be here- you clearly love gaming and horror as a genre. So excited to see what you make next.
I know this isn’t the point of the video (and it is an incredible video, don’t get me wrong), but I would like to unironically thank you for the introduction to the TF2 Bad Apple cover. It made me smile so hard listening to it, I’m having a great time
10:00 Okay this whole video is golden and wonderfully done, but are we seriously leaving it at that? Why is there a paid version of that font and why is it the only way to get the number 4?
This is a BANGER of a video, man. I’ve always had a fondness for MFN and it’s sweeter moments, and seeing someone complete this utter monster of a challenge was accelerating. The Bad Apple segment of this video unironically got me so hyped lmao Fantastic work!
The bit of Ricky's talk being just Arlo's rants on Paper Mario is too funny 🤣 Oh, uh, yeah, TH-cam showed me your video on the Park, that's the one I watched first, then the video about the other horror game made by the Park devs was the second video of yours that appeared in my feed... ...and I then decided to go to your channel and watch this one before of that one, and thank goodness I did 👍
i adore this game so much, it got me through a really tough time. most interest in it has already died out so i was really pleased to see this video is pretty recent
This was something in the back of my mind while watching other playthroughs of my friendly neighborhood. I find it funny a game with such a cute moral storyline makes it so you absolutely have to cause bloodshed.
Bro, this video was fantastic. I know you've gotten this comment a lot but I'm also coming from your vid on the park. I'm really surprised this wasn't the one I got recommended first.
My thanks for doing exactly as hoped and playing said "Bad Apple" version in-video. As someone who looks for that the moment they start even thinking of playing a new-to-them rhythm game, I would have been genuinely disappointed if the verbal mention was the only time it appeared. Regarding why this somehow wound up being a game, as opposed to soulless cash grab held together with chewed gum, spit, and Brick Mortar (all duct tape was used on the cabinet), I've a strong suspicion the fact both developers' names end with "Szymanski" plays a large part in it.
I'm the protagonist. Stuck in a world of monsters that want to kill me. Sure just help them out as if we've always been friends and sit down have a talk. Why not.
Not to take away how impressive you doing all this is but...The Pacifist Run really should be impossible considering that there's one portion of the game where Gordon acts aggressively with no input from the player. It's when Gordon reaches the park and has an encounter with Ricky. Ricky points out that Gordon seems naturally inclined toward violence and being a "bully" and correctly points out that Gordon was a Veteran of the War; this prompts Gordon to shoot Ricky, causing him to flee. It's amazing how forgiving the sock-puppet is after that, since both of them act like this never happened. But still, that's a scripted event and encounter that the player has no control over. So even though it's not the player pulling the trigger, it's Gordon not being a pacifist. How does that stack-up to the overall playthrough?
Hmm, while that cutscene was skipped in my run, considering that's also done via area trigger, I'd be willing to bet the event itself can be skipped just like Curtain Call. Additionally, because you can open a gate after that which leads directly to the park entrance, it's absolutely doable. Not enough for me to make an entirely new video about it, but that's a good point.
Congrats on pioneering a speedrun category! Because you know this is a new category, it's gotta be. Also, you are the third yeen furry I know who does vg video content (the other two are on Twitch). What is it with yeens and gaming?
