Frog fishing you have to wait at least a count of 3 before setting the hook. Almost no one can do that. Me personally I find it impossible. As a side note, I was laughing as I watched your video. You catch and release so many beautiful trout in ideal conditions. Then you go fishing in the weeds.. and keep the bass. To me that's pretty funny! I really enjoy your videos. I’m glad someone is laughing at me out there🤣. Bass taste so much better than trout to me so if I get a chance to keep some I would prefer to keep bass just to let trout go. My true passion is saltwater so I don’t fish for bass no where near as much as I do for trout so my conservation efforts are more focused on growing our local speckled trout fishery. I would love to see our Mississippi coast catching trout like you see in Texas and Florida but it will never happen with our regulations the way they are now. So all I can do is change me and hope someone else follows along. Thanks for watching and supporting Spots&Dots Tight Lines🎣… I’ll keep that 3 count in mind!!

What kind of hooks are you running
I honestly don’t know. I’m not a big bass fisherman per say so I don’t spend the same or use the same quality as I do with salt water fishing.
