    Modern decks essentially being an FTK if allowed to pop off untouched is very common. Been like this for years. But unlike Tear; Kash can be stopped and its board cracked with the proper tools. Tear was practically unstoppable and had near unlimited tools to power through anything, even after their initial salvo being cracked.

    • @cario5265
      @cario5265 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Drytron actually was the last deck that was like this. After that, every meta deck's endboard always felt beatable. Even Tear's. But yes, it is unfortunate that we are going back to this kind of thing

    • @aachen-lr2172
      @aachen-lr2172 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tear didn't build unbeatable boards, it built consistent boards with ludicrous recursion and the ability to keep player on both turns.
      Trashtira is a linear floodgate turbo with zone locking as a horrible side goal

    Kashtira isn't that great tbh. They are frustrating when you first go against them but.... like you said, they don't end on a negate normally.

    • @tickledeggz
      @tickledeggz ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No ,it'll be super expensive because the secondary market is completely unregulated and all of the prices are calculated by "I reckon people will pay £80 for this". Rarities exist in card games, that's just a thing, it's actually our own fault for getting our wallets out on pre-release days and agreeing to pay exorbitant prices for cardboard.

    the problem with kashtira is that it is inredibly strong but dies a LOT of cards so it's gonna be a cycle of kashtira being played a lot so people play lots of counters to it, so kashtira isn't played a lot anymore so people don't play it's counters, then it rises in popularity again and the cycle repeats

    • @tickledeggz

      @Nuwanda if you 'negate' shangri-ira it before it can resolve, it can't lock your zones. That's the whole point. Then on your turn they will have a hard time locking you out completely. Then if you draw an out or already open it (like the books) then it won't resolve more than once. If you have 2 disruptions like ash AND veiler, then they can't even fully lock out your zones.

    • @abcrx32j
