      @@casshernsins8333 7 pull ups with proper form is really good. Progress is really slow. I could do 32 when I was 60kg, years went by and I was 99kg could only do 1;/ Now went back to 80 and can do 9. And last 3 months its still around 7-9;/

      @@LongBug By the way, I am average height (180cm), and very skinny (65kg). It took me 12 months off hard work, to eat my way to putting on weight, upto 95kg. At that time, I couldn't do 1 Pull-up. But I quickly progressed into doing 8 with good form.
      The secret is Eccentric Descent. You need to jump up to the bar, all the way to the top and hold yourself using your back muscles. Do that for 10 seconds it is difficult. Then after 10 seconds you need to lower yourself by 30cm and hold again. Again holding for 10 seconds it is hard. Then lower yourself again, and hold. When you get to the bottom, hop off. You will get very tired. But you will stimulate your nerves, tendons, and muscles.
      After doing that, if you feel like you are not tired, do the same thing again. Do it until you can do it 3-times without resting. When your body starts adapting, you can then increase the difficulty. Now hold yourself for 30-seconds, and lower yourself by 20cm, and repeat it 5-times. It is very difficult but it is the most efficient way to increase strength for doing Pull-ups. Once you are at this level your body is strong enough to do at least 2 Pull-ups with good form and without bands. Here you can just focus on doing this until you can do at least x10 Pull-ups quickly. LongBug you will get there because you are strong and have discipline. And at that stage you will be in the top 10% of strength of every human in the whole world. You may laugh at me because I included babies, old people, women, sick people, and very obese people, but it's still good to laugh and enjoy a healthy body.
      The next stage for you is to do a "Muscle Up" and these are very difficult. If you can do this you're in the Top 1% without a doubt.

    Try this method.
    Stand on a raised platform like a chair, so your chin is over the bar.
    Kicked away the raised platform.
    Then lower your self down as slow as you can.
    The slower the better - if you need to use the bands then do so.
    Repeat until you can lower yourself down very slowly.
    The above method helps you gain strength over time.
    1 additional tip - try keep your legs forward of your hips esp the shins and feet- this places more enthesis on the back muscles.

      It was so irritating. I had been lifting for a few months but I still couldn't do a pull up. I started attempting and practicing for several hours each day. I went from doing 1 unassisted pull-up to 10 within a week. I started with the neutral grip which is much easier than a standard grip. He would've advanced much quicker had he started with a neutral grip but he got there none the less.

    the reason you haven't gained any noticeable muscle is because you are only doing 3 reps. Ideally you want to do at least 6 per set for muscle growth. I actually prefer to do 10-15 for muscle gain. Also, a lot of the gains you see when you first start out are neurological or "mental", meaning you are training your brain how to activate the muscles. In any event, good job!!!

    Зря вниз не опускается усилием рук, а спрыгивает с верхней точки, не разгибая рук. Это сильно снижает эффект тренировки. Много усилий напрасно. Но в целом безусловно красавчик.

      @@421874218742187 Влезаешь на турник в верхнее положение, когда подбородок над перекладиной и медленно опускаешься вниз. работает для тех кто 1 раз не может подтянуться.

      El gordito también deberia trotar para bajar esos rollos o hacer otros ejercicos que involucren otros grupos musculares

      @@jhovo2008 La alimentacion es determinante! coincido totalmente y clavarse un fideo con huevo u otros platos fulmina el cuerpo, porque hace una mala digestion por mezclar hidratos con proteinas y encima la glucosa en un par de horas le va a bajar, pero la insulina la va a mantener, lo cual le va a costar todo el doble. Una nota de color.

    It just made me realize that everyone's starting point is different. For one person the same can take a day. For some others it might take months. Everyone's built differently.Thr only thing we can do is have patience.

      I’ve never seen it take something two months to do a single pull up. This was an interesting video.

      @@RandyAugustus lot of different ways he could have sped up the process but it’s much harder to build up to a pull up when you’re overweight as opposed to underweight

      9 years ago i started from nothing… I was a fat, soft, spoiled crybaby 10-year old…
      and now, even though, I have become a very powerful guy for my age through Muay Thai, i still fight my physical weaknesses every training that haunt me to this day. You know, and it always kinda hurts when that one guy joins the club and overthrows my 9 years of experience and strength in a year or so…
      I hope, one day… i can shake my weakness off me.
