Kloofzicht Lodge, Swartkops Nature Reserve, The Cradle of Humankind, South Africa - It was misty!

A flyover of Kloofzicht Lodge situated in the Cradle of Humankind where a number of hominid species have been discovered. If you look closely you will be able to see ancient ruins left behind by the Tswana peoples who settled in the area on top of Swartkops. The valley marks the confluence of the Bloubank and Crocodile rivers and hippo and crocodiles do live in these waters. In addition many gazelle species inhabit this area. A pastime here is fly fishing for the elusive yellow fish and rainbow trout and hikes into the bushveld biome.
