I sat down with an American who has chosen Thailand for his retirement and asked him some interesting questions. Check out Fred's channel: / @farawayfred802 #thailand
Glad you interviewed Faraway Fred! I watched his TH-cam channel and even met up with him when I visited CM last. He's definitely a cool guy and much deserved, peaceful retirement after his years serving his community in the US. Catch his videos and insights on his channel: Faraway Fred.
Fred has the voice of a radio presenter. Very articulate. Looks like fitness is a priority for him, Great interview, cheers from also San Pu Loei, Doi Saket :)
Retired LE myself. Went to Thailand site unseen like this gentleman. Our former career helps us to adapt quickly to most situations including cultures in my experience. Congrats on a happy retirement!
Great to see you interview Lou Gossett Jr. Seems like a really decent man, level headed and friendly. I wish him and his wife all the best in Thailand or wherever they go🤘🙏
Ok I spent 20 in Law Enforcement in CA and have lived in CNX for 8 years. CNX is safe from crime but road safety is very poor. When one is out on the streets(sidewalks are rare) keep your head on a swivel. Driving can be a dangerous activity. Always remember "Safety" is your responsibility.
Great video. Great job fred. If not for my three kids being young I would be living there or Phillipines. Take care let me know if you need anything I live in Virginia and was a police officer for 28 years
@@Livingabroadalex I’m actually flying in to bankok in January and while I’m there was hoping to fly to Chiang Mai for a week. I wanted to visit the temples in chains Mai. Looks like I may have to make other plans.
@@AuntieCamilla1111 Burning season typically starts around the end of February, or mid March, and runs through May. The weather in Chiang Mai during January and most part of February are relatively cool and pleasant. Just providing info in case you wanna plan your trip around those months.
