The whole part about Adam's mother issue is pure comedy gold (and Tom's "get on board" in 1:07:25 is the best moment of this episode). I didn't expect seeing so much of laughing Tom and also I'm impressed by his jokes. I respect you Tom, you seem to be a nice bloke.

@@ilovesparky13They did not explain what Adam’s mother issue is. That added to the humor to me as Tom was drawing some connection to the character who kisses his mom on the lips.

I'm one of those who was on the Ace Train until that point. I get how that's not a deal-breaker for most people, but personally, I've always been more of the "we're all manning the same ship" mentality with coworkers, and that means accepting that no one is going to be perfect 8 hours a day, 7 days a week. A little bit of venting is fine, but if it's constant enough to be a trait here? Nuh uh. I'm not okay with agreeing to bad-talk about people I don't know long-term, and I think it does put up a red flag for important values differences that I'm not sure can be resolved. That kicked me back to Jax, whose red flag for most was a Bob Marley ringtone? I feel like that would have been assumed just looking at her tbh. XD
@@BlasphemyBaby To me, Her look does not say Bob Marley ringtone. That is kind of surprising. Her look, including her hair, says more System of a Down, Rammstein, Marilyn Manson or something darker and heavier and on what is kind of the other side of the musical spectrum from Bob Marley.
One of my previous coworkers straight up bullied me and made me want to die, so I'm not going to accept "don't complain about your coworkers" from anybody.
Obviously with all this table tennis love with the NRB crew there needs to be... dare I say it.... a tournament! Adam bloody loves a tournament lol.

Mad respect for how Jon handled the tiny cross necklace. As someone who was raised religious and has broken away from the church it always feels like walking on eggshells discussing religion in public. He handled it honestly and tactfully.

I love how Jon and Sully have built up so much chemistry as a double act that they both went "Oh, yes" at the exact same time and with the exact same inflection after Blair suggested Tanner cosplay. Also, I third that "oh, yes", the world needs Tanner-Blair.

They’d have to do a little more rigorous editing in order for it to be clear what’s happening. So far the games they’ve played have been very edit-friendly. I’m with you though I’d still love to see it!
My guess would be that it will be a while because Whitehall doesn’t facilitate as much banter.

Maybe I just don't understand it, but how is "complains about coworkers" a turnoff?
I'd obviously ask my partner how their day went and if something went wrong in any way, I'd love to talk about it.
Its more of a "doesn't take responsibility for anything" kind of deal. Like, they always talk about how shitty those other guys are at work. Also, complaining ALL the time can be annoying as hell. That said, I think many of these prompts are a bit superficial - a stupid ringtone? Just ask them to stop. "Suspiciously" into german history? So what, "suspicious" doesn't de facto mean Nazi, it just means they like that history a lot and as a german I have to say, there is a lot to love or at least a lot of interesting topics and time periods!
A bit of spittle? "Oh no, shes a freakin human being!". Like, come on. So yeah, I agree, most of these things are way to superficial to make any difference in my mind
Eh, complaining can be fun if you do it right. Plus, the card _didn't_ say "all the time" on it, so I don't think it's excessive. Just venting about shitty co-workers once in a while? NBD to me. Or, if they had a bad day and make a whole super dramatic production out of it to the point that it's kinda goofy, like they're telling some unbelievable story? That sounds kinda fun! But if they're mad at you the whole time too just because you're around tho? Yeah, not great. Really depends how they're doing the complaining. Just based on how the card says it tho, I think it's just regular old "this person sometimes vents about their bad day at work" and I can commiserate with that. Sometimes you just need someone to listen and support you when work sucks.

I'm so glad I gave this a watch after passing it by a few times. It was fantastic. And the game definitely seemed to benefit from the added people. If our gaming group ever tries this one, I'll definitely suggest it as a house rule.
