i started reading Gilded a couple months ago but there was so much talk about witches and demons and stuff that i kind of got put off by it (i returned it to the library by the middle of chapter 2) which is so sad because i was so excited to read another marissa meyer book! also for the daughter of the pirate king series, i read the first book and i would say it’s good if you enjoy romance over plot buuuuut i was expecting more pirates of the caribbean vibes with more plot and a side romance so i was disappointed (i didn’t even like the love interest that much 😔)
