Gotta love how the creature's skin starts to blister and its eye goes blind and milky after it dies. They really put a lot of effort into graphical detail and animations for all them monsters. Makes more than up for the somewhat mediocre landscapes.
how do u get back up becuz i lost all my pawns and i only have 100 health left and it keeps saving so cant go back up or anything... also wasting wakestones so how get up?

Yep I was wondering when someone else besides me would notice that about Baldur’s Gate DA. I was gonna say Capcom stole that monster from Snowblind. It’s called a Beholder. It was the very first rpg I ever played, and I couldn’t figure out to kill it, and it was much easier to beat than these ass holes, but then BG DA also let you cheese the hell out of your stats by importing and level resets. Once you got all your stats maxed, you could pretty much one hit or one shot everything and everyone. Not the Beholder or any of the other boss fights, but basic enemies went down like trash in a landfill. Kind of boring once you played through it enough to memorize every enemy’s moves and the locations of all enemies, traps, loot spots, etc. Overall, still a great game though.
not sure if anyone else noticed it when you fought it, but it is possible to hit it when it is charging up its spell that limits your skills because it drops its guard whenever it attacks. As a warrior class arisen i was able to kill it extremely fast by wailing on it when it did that and using arc of deliverence when it was down with its eye out.

There's a magic shield attack that does loads of holy damage but uses up all of your stamina. Let your pawns distract the evil eye while you cast it. It becomes a super-easy boss fight. The first time around, at least.
hey, cheers for this dude:) i was doing this the hard way with my assassin, staying at distance and shooting him which is completely useless, so as a last ditch attempt, i tried the old hack 'n' slash after watching this and killed him in like 3 minutes or so. thanks man.
when barrier goes down eating a guy. he still does not get hurt. only sometimes when my pawn hits him and he never does jack but talk talk talk and not swing that sword
Best method that i found for the evil eye as a MK is to use ruinous sigil with a holy affinity when its chomping down on one of my pawns. It tears it up fast.
Always have Tenfold Flurry on your Ranger (or Sixfold if you cannot get it yet) and make sure your Pawn ONLY has Fire Affinity, Holy Affinity and the High healing spell. The other spells it should have should be buffs and perhaps a single attack or two. Get either a Warrior or Fighter for a Tank and either a Sorcerer or a Warrior (provided you went with a Fighter Pawn) for some high damage.
For the Holy Affinity part, you are a Mystic Knight, so you could get the Holy Enchanter which will buff all party members near you with Holy magic. Sure, it's not as strong as Holy Affinity, but it's a lot faster, and your Mage has room for other skills.

Get it from the last boss, PROVIDING you are using the vocation that corresponds to the DEFAULT weapon choice. For example: Fighter: Sword and Shield Strider: Daggers and Bow Assassin: Daggers and Bow (NOT SWORD AND SHIELD, regardless of whether you are using them or not)
So I played this game a few years back and had the Griffin armor and level 25 now I'm 45 with dragon skin armor the nigga died quicker then anything I've fought to date
SPOILERS ON THIS COMMENT:: i killed the dragon and after i woke up on my way back to grand sorn i almost died and had no heal items so i used a ferrystone and now caxton is gone and i cant find him did i kill him by useing a ferrystone to go back to grand sorn?????

incredibly so if youre an assassin. just dire gouge it when its eye drops out... instant death. dont even need any affinities.. just bring strong daggers. but the cockatrice and drakes are not a fun boss
Try beat a drake using mystic knight no great orb. This boss knew he was fucked against my MK, but drakes are my bain sadly, have to bring my main pawn sorcerer and a marksman and tank myself while they dps the dragons. My party is well balanced, me as tank, a warriors dps/tanky, and 2 dps (Sorcerer and marksman). Thinking on switching the 4th pawn to a strider for the climbing skills. If you have a good pawn strider in the range of lvl 65-70, i will rent.
Yeah, I have a bit of a problem though..... I play a magic Archer with a staff as my secondary. The evil eye is near completely invulnerable to magic. I don't do any damage and my useless pawns are all living statues because they can't run..

he felt rather easy for a hard boss the hardest boss room for me was the gorechimera and chimera room with that mage and devil hounds -_-;; but magic archer like aboss handles all of these rooms easy :D idk how mages get through the everfall -_-;
Did you hear wut he just said woow everfall after you beat the main quest line lmao im lucky enough already to have experienced this game remastered in 2017 I thought this was new but anyway wtf is the main quest line in this game how in the f's do yu stumble across this quest line in this game I'm confused 100% plus nobody cares to explain anything 1,2,3 step in this game all I see are side quest and endless fighting and I'm not complaining there but this gotdam quest line bullshit has got me wanting to interrogate people

If you have a slicing weapon, you can latch on to it and start slicing off the tentacles that way when its shield is down.

archhydra takes forever! but I agree it's a lot harder if you can't keeps its heads from respawning

Dragonforging only works for you, not your pawn.

I killed Grigori in my lower/middle 50s, but now that I think on it I had the game on easy difficulty so I guess it doesn't count.
