Last time Scrapers were used in anger in that neck of the woods was 1983(ish), when Wyatts did the earthworks for the A45 dualling, Wellingborough to Rushden. Galliford was Main Contractor on that section.

I operated caterpillar Motor scrapes for many years.. I have never heard of a boxes moving dirt before.

these belong to A and A plant from cambridge,film on the ecl site at Wellingborough,drove 631c on wyatts myself about 1988 on the Ringstead ,Denford bypass,happy days
