So boomers can have a sense of humor outside "I hate my marriage and kids spend too much time on phones."
It's almost as if stereotyping and generalizing people can apply to Gen-Z as well... 🤔
Wow it's almost like stereotypes aren't always true
wow i never wouldve thought people are still humans despite not being exactly like us
Man dude if yall in this thread wanna be upset about the generalization of boomer humor, maybe tell your folks and people at your work to stop making those jokes ://
I worked at a golf store and it was NOTHING BUT "i hate my wife and its that damn phone". If you wanna get snarky, then have your older peers tell jokes like these more often 😒
...and then people got pressed over a small sarcastic statement
when boomer memes are good, they are actually REALLY FUNNY lol
It's an extreme. Gen Z humour is just ok, but boomer humour is either vomit-inducing or heavenly
they have the power to make good jokes, and they squander it
And when it's not good, it's really not good
Boomer humor is either the cringiest "kids these days" or "I hate my wife" jokes or dad jokes that are aged like a fine wine into grandpa jokes.
That's your subjective opinion; I'm sure there are Gen Z's who would disagree with you. HUmor is subjective and relative what you think is good humor differs from person to person and what is consider funny changes from generation to generation. For example Archie Bunker is a character from All In The Family that's extremely racist and people found it funny in the 70s. That wouldn't fly these days because people are less racially insensitive these days then they were in the 70s. @@osheridan
I like how the narrators all end up sharing a little bit about themselves with each meme, it’s like they’re having a conversation with me and it’s very comforting

12:59 this strip is actually from a belgian comic called "imbattable" (unbeatable) wich was translated to "mister invincible". It credits itself as only being possible in comics as the superhero's sole power is the ability to go through panels. It's actually pretty original and quite smart with the usage of this power and others like it.

Isn't most of our (millenial/gen Z) humor cruel hearted? We're always talking about how we want to die and making fun of people for being "cringe". We're just as nasty as they are, andin 30 years when Gn Alpha/Gen Beta is hating on us, I don't wanna hear any of you whining about it.

@@HarpsiFizzjoking about your mental health is a lot different from "you're not struggling, you're just lazy" jokes that are super tone-deaf and meant to make ppl look genuinely bad. HOWEVER, i do agree that most people have a natural impulse to laugh at others. It's a mammal sense of humor lol
edit: i definitely dislike cringe culture, though. it is just mean, and is usually targeted towards children or mentally unwell people
@@HarpsiFizz Cringe culture aside, because yes that is stupid and rude, as cuppyloser said, boomers joke about others and are just mean and tone deaf. Gen Z tends to joke about ourselves, and most of those jokes don't really negatively impact others.

One of my mom's (many) cats, Max, had horribly mutilated his claws by constantly trying to sharpen them in wooden shelves that were far too tough to run them through. He just kept making them worse and putting them in more pain, which made him want to sharpen more to get rid of that pain. He was much more lively after he got declawed and I'm sure he's happier for it. These medical procedures exist for the purpose of improving the animals' lives; not for your selfish desire to stop getting pricked by your cat. Besides, cats can not only bite you, but can also punch you, so you are not any safer from their wrath for longer than a month, anyway.
I can understand that, but I still feel like it’s not a good thing to do in most cases. Like, it’s basically removing their fingers. I can’t imagine how miserable it would make a cat who didn’t need it.
@@nopenopity-nope6621
Yeah, but assuming that everyone who does it is just tired of their cat clawing stuff isn't right either. There are rare circumstances where declawing is right, even if it is inhumane the majority of the time.
@@gamerdomain6618 OR they could have just got non wooden shelves from the get go but no mutilating your pet is the right thing to do.....🙄
sometimes we need to amputate a person's legs due to medical reasons, but we don't just remove the legs because we are tired of putting on shoes everyday. same reasons on why a cat needs to be declawed.
@@ryanclemons1
Oh, right, just predict that he would start sharpening on bed frames, shelves, and the insides of the walls out of nowhere after he's already lived with her for over three years and done no such thing. Hell, she had that furniture ten years before she had Max, but yeah, replace it *_after_* he's already permanently and irreparably ripped his claws apart.
9:10 Bold of you to assume the police could get the cat off
The cats like Thor's hammer, only the worthy can lift the cat
7:40 Okay funny as the comic is fr don't declaw your cats. It's a surgical procedure which removes *part of their toe,* the entire first knuckle in fact. Not to mention if your cat somehow gets outside (don't think you're immune the occasional accident, it can happen whether you let them out or a guest or child did), they will be missing their main line of defense. Not only this, but studies have found cats that are declawed are more likely to experience depression and anxiety, wobbly balance etc, they are *genuinely distressed and hindered* by their lack of claws and toes. And other than this there is a possibility the claw will still grow despite missing the first knuckle or anywhere for the claw to *come out* and will keep growing continually so you'll have to take your cat to the vet again to what may look like a painful tumor in their paw removed. Don't look up pictures, I assure you that you do NOT wanna see what it looks like. Downright nauseating.
I've heard people argue that declawing isn't any different from spaying or neutering, but the fact is it simply isn't the same at all. There are far more cons to leaving them in tact when you don't intend to breed them than getting them 'fixed'. There are a decent amount of health issues that crop up, not to mention their lifespan can be shortened by sexual activity. It's not just beneficial to the owner to get them spayed/neutered, but declawing is a purely selfish and superficial procedure people make when they don't want to deal with issues they really should have known very well they'd have to deal with when purchasing or adopting their kitty.
Female cats particularly can have their health impacted by pregnancies, and male cats experience *more anxiety* when not neutered. They are more territorial, more stressed, and more likely to spray around the house outside the litterbox than a neutered cat, which doesn't have all those hormones driving them to freak out about every strange cat they might so much as smell through the door.
How are the "Got any grapes" jokes with the ducks considered BOOMER humor? That's gen z, we're still 18-24, we're the ones who grew up with that song.

5:57 I remember a story about my great grandma who lived to 87. Her doctor was really surprised when he found after effects of tuberculosis on some rutinal check up. 🎶 the duck walked up to the lemonade stand🎶
7:46 I COMPLETELY AGREE. DECLAWING CAN BE CONSIDERED ABUSE AS IT PUTS YOUR CAT IN A LOT OF PAIN AND CAN LEAD TO INFECTIONS.
That's not really why it's a problem though, they are only in pain if your vet sucks and like with any other surgery it can cause infections, taking care of it appropriately is necessary. The problem is that when declawing your cat you are amputating the outer most bone in their paws for each claw, it's like cutting off the part of our fingers with nails on. It changes how they can walk. It literally disfigures your poor cat. That's why it's animal cruelty, not because surgeries cause pain...
Declawing is roughly equivalent to removing the cat's first knuckle. If you wouldn't partially amputate every finger on someone's hands for wrecking a couch, you wouldn't declaw a cat.
@@cassandra2860 exactly
it's a surgery, like if there's something horribly wrong with the claw. similar to how appendages can require amputation. it's not something you just do for the hell of it
