@@MrCommandor1998 On tournaments the list is open so... also the plus side of having a companion far outweighs giving them info about what deck you are playing, that is gonna happen the moment you play any card that matters anyway.

You made the mulligan thing up, there is no data to support that, ppl wont mulligan super aggressively for specific cards on best of 1, most of the time they don't even have the specific cards they need on the deck since best of 1 decks try to be a jack of all trades master of none. In best of 3 it makes even less difference as you will give some info on the pre side game which is normally played without cards tailored to beat your strat anyway and the most important tournaments are open list. If you think having a free (almost free, now that they cost 3 mana to put in hand) 8th card should be avoided due to giving your opponent super basic level info you are nuts.

I played against this deck about a month ago (not exactly the same but close). Wrote down what my opponent played then made the deck myself and have been having pretty good success with it. I never even thought of using the relic, so I changed my list a little bit, threw them in and had my first 3 opponents concede a few turns after playing relic lol. Thanks LVD.

At 29:07 you could have played regulator, doubled the mana ability of torch of defiance and had enought mana to play and double heart of fire ability. Very cool deck, lots of interesting lines.
I dont know why but when I see historic vids with fun archetypes I click, and when it's literally any standard gameplay from the new sets I could care less.
Also nice that Light Up the Night is a Chandra card! I'd play the full set of Regulators, though. You can just discard the extra copies to the first, and it's crucial to really kick the Chandra synergies into high gear.

I got into Magic back in 2019 during Core Set 2020, Chandra tribal was the first deck I made and I was so proud of myself. Creating four hasty 5/1s every turn was so satisfying
I've been playing variants of this deck since you first played it and have loved every one! I've never used Karns Bastion though as I think it's too slow and use Faceless Haven instead of Mobilised District because I'm short of rare wildcards!
And it also has synergy with Heart of Kiran, every time Kiran removes a counter! BUT Artisan has a flaw: she doesn't give mana. If you observe all the 4-cost Chandras in this deck they give mana to go down the Awakened Inferno faster
Grafdigger's Cage is a lot better graveyard hate card than Relic. Often, as soon as I play it on turn one, the opponent surrenders. It's worth the drawback of not allowing you to draw a card. It even stops Collected Company and Muxus.
At 36:40, I thought you drew the three mana Chandra, so I was Kreygasming on the piles you could get with double Heart-of-Flame-ultimate. Turns out I cannot read.
Tss, was playing this deck before it was cool B) Just a little feedback from my experience: - Unsure about the Relic tech since it prevents you from playing Unholy Heat. This deck is great at reaching delirium and it can snipe a full health teferi or a grown Valkyrie. It also prevents you playing Seasoned Pyromancer. Imo it's better than Chandra's Triumph btw and I ended up cutting all of them. - I'm playing a Karn great creator package instead of relic, it grabs Cage and can edge Muxus, graveyard decks, collected company, there's a safety button against Nine Lives in Perilous Vault... - Regulator should be a 4-of, it can be cycled easily so there's no drawback to playing 4 and it's such a strong enabler. - I'm playing 4x the zendikar mdfc that can deal 1 damage and 4x Shatterskull Smashing. The deck can afford to take its time with its lands and the extra utility is great. Den of the Bugbear is an alternative to District. - I ended up ditching the weaker Chandras (novice pyromancer and most Acolyte of Flames)

Some questions regarding Zirda: - Can I have 1 Zirda as a companion (outside of the game) and 1 or 2 Zirda in the deck in _each game?_ - Zirda can reduce the flashback cost (Light Up the Night in _graveyard)?_ - Is the "any snow-cost" also a "any-color" cost? [Faceless Haven] - If is possible sideboarding Cage (no activated ability), can I use it in second duel? BTW: My version of this deck plays Faceless Haven for Novice Pyromancer (+ Regulator, brutal!). And Novice with 4-cost get it 6 counters for Light Up the Night and I obtain extra acceleration with Fable Passage. I'm tempting to use Zirda instead of Bonecrusher Giant....

Relic is good at keeping the graveyard empty without need to sacrifice it, so it's usually more annoying to face than Lantern if you're a graveyard deck.

In Game 2, the OP had Leyline of Sanctity, giving him hexproof. Nonetheless, Chandra's +2 did deal 2 damage to their face. So I presume burn gets around hexproof? @LegenVD

Yeah talked about it at the end of the video. I would try out two copies replacing Novice Pyromancer and either one Acolyte of Flame or one Torch of Defiance.
Isn't it better to play all 4 regulators? You can loot away extra copies, and upside of having it in play with this deck is just too high, so maximizing chances to draw it kind of makes sense.

It can be better, but it’s a lot more high variance. Doesn’t stop Mizzix Mastery for instance which is half the reason to play graveyard hate.

The Cages are excellent, but in sideboard (bo3), because _they clog up Light Up the Night_ (and third ability of Acolyte)
