I absolutely love this. My 11 year old was given a Bible a very old dirty looking Bible by her Sunday school teacher. I cleaned off the cover and found out it's beige not dingy brown. Lol. But it's just a simple Bible cover beige, kind of boring for an 11 year old. I think I am going to let her paint it. Such an amazing idea.

Hi there! Not too sure about using a gloss mod podge. I also have moved onto using a spray sealant now that I prefer!

Is it waterproof? How to prevent from spoilage?

Sealing it prevents it from getting damaged, however I wouldn’t go dunking it in water.
