So, the trailers for the new Beverly Hills Cop and the Beetlejuice sequel dropped today. Thoughts?

I don’t think BHC looks bad, but it looks pretty by the numbers. We’ve seen it so many times. I haven’t seen Eddie be great in a while either. But I’ll watch it, especially since it’s loading on Netflix. Beetlejuice looks like a solid sequel, with regards to the original. It looks a little over the top, but that’s kinda the point

@allpopnoculture Sure, I'll watch it, but I expect nothing from it. Throwback/call back humor, some CGI-assisted action/destruction sequences, the usual. Murphy has to be mid 60's? Reinhold, too, the bald guy has to be in his 80s, at least. There was, to a certain degree, believability in the first film. But I have a hard time believing that my ability to suspend willing disbelief may be a bridge too far for this mind.
As for Beetlejuice, I thought they could have at least updated Winona's look. But it looks and more importantly, felt like the original. The question is... secret cameo for Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis?

Alec and Gina would be awesome. But yeah, about BHC, I think "he's getting too old for this crap"
