I have the OnePlus 12 R and have no regrets. I traded in my Pixel 8. Slow charging and screen dimming when it got warm. Plus the face an fingerprint unlock on the 12R is fantastic, can't say that about the Pixel 8 i had
The pixel 8 is thrash, and gets hot for no reason.
Only reason i didn't upgrade from my OnePlus 7T to the 12R, is that the 12r's screen is curved.
You get used to it....@@Leonn_.
True, i have the pixel 8 pro and its the worst phone ever. Great pictures but laggy as hell. Also recording videos lags, battery charging is dogtrash , totally useless ohone except if you take pictures all the time. Even then, the AI is slow as hell with generating great vida
@judyheinz3256 is the camera good when zooming
Pleaseeeee don't stop making these videos!! You're my favorite tech reviewer because of your concise and well organized testing with nice comparisons, combined with cool cultural locations and historical fun facts dotted throughout.
As a 47 year old father of 4 who doesnt use social media much,The slight difference in picture quality (that can be fixed with filters btw) doesnt justify paying $300-$500 more than the 12r for the 12..in my budgeted opinion
Unless your playing Genshin Impact what I can only assume you don't you really don't need a phone that is even this expensive. Phones like the A55 have a pretty decent camera for under 300.
the 12 is not really worth it over the 12r in any scenario
@@alumlovescake I still wouldn't trust the Exynos SoC and modem over Snapdragon. I've heard they've gotten better, but in comparison videos and forums, they're still worse than even older Snapdragons.
Your video would be better had you left your examples up for 5 seconds longer? I have little time to see all 4 examples? I paid $468 for my new 12 R upgrading from a no longer supported One Plus 8. The camera is better than the OP8 the video? I am not so sure. These macro cameras? Just bad! The battery is just spectacular. Comes with charger and cord and charges from 20 pc to 80 in 15 minutes. Has setting to stop charge at 80 to save batttery😊 Screen is bright and speed is super fast. For $468 verses $700 for a OP 12 or top Pixel at $1000 Samsung etc you get a lot of phone. Photos and videos always depend on how much light you get into the lens on any phone. Cheers.
Just pause the video if they aren't on long enough, or set the video to play at a slower rate. He has a lot of photos and it could easily come to people complaining they are up for too long.
That ambulance at the end was really funny, for me I guess not for you, great video man really enjoyed it, I'm hungry as always after watching any of these videos lol
OnePlus 12r or OnePlus 11!?
If you own 11r don't upgrade else go for 12r
I never saw the 11 but if you care about cameras, I'd imagine the cameras on the 11 are better than the 12R (especially in video)
@@vikrammadhavan8462 ilr
@@AzureRT456 yepp... i got the 11 and its FANTASTIC
Jeez, that awful video quality.
Second!!!
morning sir
i got the 12R.. i barely use the cameras, so i have no regrets tbh 😊
Same. All i want is fast charging, batt life and performance and it does not disappoint 😊
Is the camera quality good?
@@Yaechino main cam does a decent job.. but the other 2 are meh, you can't expect much
@@mehran2722 I'm rather thinking of taking Vivo x100 cause I'm taking it for making video purposes.
The 12R's battery life is incredibly attractive!
Currently watching from a 12r used it for 5h now and battery is only down 6% lets see how it holds up after a year whit the 100w charger
Superior fast charging tech has been around for years and the battery life on those phones is just as good as the Samsung Google and apples pathetic slow charging
The thing with pixel 8a is that horrible bezel, dark mode isn't the solution with that
I have the 12R I love it. Had a pixel once, and will NEVER get another one
How is battery and camera on your oneplus 12R ?
@@nielsjunker1487 Battery is monster, you won't ever run out of juice. Main camera is pretty good, selfie is decent, rest cams are trash.
how is it holding up till now i am looking to buy it
When testing out a camera stop with the fancy editing. Nobody wants quick paced edits, they want to be able to analyze the video and pictures. this should be a very obvious thing for someone reviewing Tech
Watching this on my OnePlus pad sipping my 18oz coffee. Mornin.
Heyyyyyy, I'm not interested in this phone at all 😂😂 but I love your video content. So I watch so I can explore with you😂😂. You always have great videos.❤
If choose pixel, samsung or iPhone for security reasons
I don't trust Chinese phones 😐
Your real world test of smartphones along with food reviews are great to watch. Also, great help as a New Yorker. I loved S24 & Phone 2a most, I'm on a budget can I usw on of yours for now?! Mine screen is shattered
Someday I'll have the cash to come up your way for a food/local neighborhood/smartphone photography session walking tour ☺️
Globally What's model number 2611 ? Isn't it Chinese or us, which1 better? Ty
Some of your One Plus 11 photos looked best😊
The food looks amazing! Another great review and city tour. It is enjoyable to watch your videos. I always learn something new.
Watching on my OnePlus 12R 😎
Thsi phone is fantastic
Hi,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out to inquire about the possibility of collaborating with you for a drone review on your TH-cam channel.
Love that you take us on an adventure with you. It is so much more fun than studio shots. And your content is timeless.
The food looked fantastic, and I am sure it tasted delicious 😋🥝🥑😊😍😃🤤I would choose the Pixel with the neverending car alarm 🚨
oneplus def makes some earbuds that bang
The bloopers never get old😂😆
Id be mad to if I had a trash camera
@theunlockr what is your daily driver if you don’t mind me asking. Curious.
Most value for money phone
Great vid, won't bother with the phone 😁
I thought 12R is flagship killer series? Is that a midrange phone? Obviously not a midrange chip though.
midrange priced
Maybe because the camera quality is not the same as the OnePlus 12 that's the only thing I can think of because of the phone performs just like a flagship in fact it had last year's flagship processor in it so yeah I get confused when they say mid-range as well
Very chill i enjoy this
Coffee Check
☕✅🙌
PLEASE I'M CONFUSED BETWEEN THE ONEPLUS ACE3(12R) AND THE REALME GT 6, HELP ME I'M A GAMER
battery backup is good, UI is fast..but camera is 💩
What a nice video ❤❤
Finally watching another Theunlockr real-world test, this time featuring the OnePlus 12R.
Nice take on OnePlus' latest smartphone!
MOrnin!
Mornin!
Wait, 12R just released in the US?

I think nothing phone 2 is way better than 12r and is comparable to the OnePlus 12
Been to that BBQ place years back (10-15 yrs ago) glad to see they are still around. Born and raised in Brooklyn.
You should try Keg and Latern by The G Train. Great beer, great nachos. That’s my spot when I come to visit family.
My goodness... I'm never falling for watching one of his videos again. He cuts away from all the comparisons too quickly to give more than half the time of the video reviewing food places. I was hoping for a tech review.
That's why most of us look at his videos, he always reviews tech pieces along with cool places, historic places, food places of New York. Not only bla megapixels, bla, 2000nits, bla 5000mA battery, bla bla... It's original, different from others.
that's what the pause button is for
Tech f&d
I’d pick the Pixel.
I think even the nothing phone 2a has better video quality. This is just a good processor phone.. that's it.
Pixel for me.
The pixels night mode is terrible
