I used to look at people who bought houses like this as the dumbest people on earth until a few years ago, when I read a quote in an old interview from some entertainer who was hot back in the early '00s. They were asked why they spent over $10 million on a house, and their answer was, "so after I blow every other cent I made on stupid shit, I'll still have something to sell!"

Years ago, I worked for a moving company in Toronto. One of our clients, as this rich Jewish banker investor on the bridle path. The place had a gazillion bedrooms, and bathrooms, with himself, his wife, two kids, and maids. Just a little guy, who looked bored in trying to impress his neighbors who had what he had. He looked kind of bored like it was all too much, I think he preferred a far more modest home. The man was nice, gave us all a nice tip, and some cokes, and then we were off to a one-bedroom cat ladies' apartment, who thought she could squeeze a huge living room suite, into a living room the size of your bathroom. lol real estate man, real estate

I don't know much about LA geography, but I doubt that Tom Cruise's "Beverly Hills Mansion" overlooks an ocean (maybe the Pacific, maybe not) from one room and a snowy forest at the foot of snow-capped mountains from another.
Tom Cruise is rich enough to have the snow capped mountains flown in with fresh snow each day! LOL
The home they showed with the mountains and snow was in Telluride Colorado.

You know what I heard about years ago? Was a story about how either Mel Gibson bought a house from Nicholas Cage? Or vise versa,, or was it someone else, and the new owner got the original blueprint, demolished the house and rebuilt the exact same house just so that he could say it was his. That he had nobody’s hand me downs. You should cover that story one day 😂

It was enjoyable to look at these homes despite the fact that the video's producers mixed images from random properties. Someone didn't do their homework or didn't care. For Aniston, they begin with one house and then switch to another that is supposed to be the same property. The description of Mark Wahlberg's house doesn't match the property shown. This house is about 30,000 sq ft and on the market for $85 million. They describe it as around 11,000 sf for $13 million. These filmmakers must also produce the celebrity Hollywood maps with made-up property owners.

Wahlberg looks like he just couldn’t really afford it I mean one. 7 acres is nothing and he crammed all the stuff into the space and he ended up with small spaces that needed to be large and a large home that needed to be a little bit smaller and scale but yeah not really an impressive at all the heart is what makes a House a Home and if you don’t have any or you don’t hire the right designers who can reflect what your styles are if you don’t even know what that is and you really aren’t going to come up with a hot mess
