Thanks for the viewing but I just have to comment. It is just a shame and makes me wonder why when they built this home that they didn’t put the bedrooms on the back side of the house where the views are!!! Why isn’t the staircase going up and the bathroom on the street side !! Allowing the bedrooms the views of the countryside!! Makes me crazy!!! Otherwise it would be something to consider! Such a shame! 😣
I would be tempted to install a door at the end of the first floor hallway and turn that huge bedroom and nearby bathroom into a master suite with walk-in closet.
I’d remove the tub in the first bathroom and have a large shower with glass wall & door and reposition the sink. On the main floor, I believe the kitchen and living room would be better swapped….that way the living room would have a fireplace and the kitchen would open to the back patio.

Wonder what the costs would be to redo the arches for the front windows and render the whole house in the same colour. Love to extend the rear terrace across the entire back of the house and put a French door from the garage to the terrace and reinstate the door back into the kitchen. So much potential. 😎
Yes I agree wholeheartedly with you, the light in this house is fantastic ❤. Its quite amazing considering that the wall at 'back' of the house has only a few small windows... the light must mostly be entering from the street side.(?)
So is the street side facing south?
This is my dream property ... LOTS of airy, lightfilled space, great utility area (garage), gardens and views...and the drinking water fountain around the corner!!! 😌

I've criticized these types of houses before because they lack any of the cool details common in older Italian homes. vaulted ceilings and exposed stone, etc. I've said that is the reason they sell slow, and it's still available.
But, this type house just might lend it's self to a very condemnatory design and decorating style. high design Italian, if you will.
So i may be wrong about them. I can see possibilities now that I overlooked before. Doing that kind of style may not be cheap, but could get great results. A good architect could dress the front of the house to look like a grand house. And for not that large an expense. the price was good I think. It seems to have been two houses, at some point, and I think i might tend to keep it looking like two separate houses. The kitchen right there on the sidewalk/ street is a little strange, but I suppose I'd get used to it, and might even like it in time. that big garage was a plus for me. I need a workshop.
I am surprised it has not been snapped up at that price.

Fair price , but still needs considerable work , cant find the info cards where you say to find transport info. If there are no buses the price may be a bit high considering all the location, work , effort and costs. Since the windows are so small on the view side , would that be because its the north side ?

I thing the big silos near the house and the noise the machine will do to put stock in it may afraid buyer. It is only a comment. The house is a practical but with no characters. The view is nice but it will be nice to know why nobody lived there for 2 years ?

Italy is very seasonal, so mostly the silos get used pretty much only 1 or two months of the year. The rest of the months there is no grain to be processed.
It is common that houses remain holiday homes and then people decide to sell them later. Or that locals inherit then and then sell them
Looks like a bargain.
