I was depressed for a while and then I found your channel; and it really helped me to see my child will be okay. Now I don’t have to worry about going on a cruise because this an option now. I just love your family and the love you have for each other and I’m a 60 year old wife mother of two grown kids knew nothing about autism really until I found you guys online and I wished I’d of known more when my kids were younger because I believe they are both slightly on the spectrum and I could’ve had more patience and understanding. I don't see it in the stars, so to speak. But it looks like a wonderful experience. I'm glad I could go along virtually.

So excited to come across this content I have a child with autism myself and have been apprehensive about traveling especially cruising with my child It used to give me a lot of anxiety just thinking about it I believe we are point where we could travel safely with an organization like this autism of the seas what a beautiful group of people after looking up their website I see they have many options from financial assistance to one-on-ones escorting you from the airport all the way through the cruise ship this honestly is just what I was hoping to find. Thank you again for sharing as one of my concerns would be one of the parents would always have to be with the child but think I was wrong about that looks like we can all have fun safely. Also glad that they offer financial help with grants and payment plans. Looking forward to working with them as soon as we can also so happy you and your family and Abby have a great time thank you so much for sharing❤

We just got back from our first cruise. We did a nonstaffed AotS cruise out of Galveston. We were unsure about doing a cruise but I think it’s the perfect vacation for us. Our next cruise will be a staffed cruise.
One year we took a cruise and there were 9 of us in our family. After my sisters had kids, we then went to celebrate my grandparent's 60th anniversary. There were 13 of us.....4 generations.....on that cruise. We love it!

She doesn’t do water slides, rock climbing walls, carousels, etc. she likes the music, going on walks, and going to the respite room and doing activities with the staff. Unfortunately you won’t see the activities they do during respite because we aren’t there for respite. She is a very social person so she likes to socialize.

We have cruised and loved it, but it was before Autism on the Seas ,so we had our share of challenges. But, what a great resource this can be for so many families.

When we went on cruises when our kids were in their teen years, they had a teen room and our boys LOVED it! This is Abbey's version of being independent from you all in her own teen program. She looked so happy! You are all making great memories for your family! So glad this is available for your family and others!

I did an Alaskan cruise. I loved it so much. I think the volunteering would be cool. I have been a chaperone for special needs tours for 12 yrs. I truely love it.
We did a short cruise 34 years ago on our anniversary thru the Great Lakes,,we would love to do the Alaska cruise,,on our 35,, crossing my fingers,,love that your getting involved with the cruise,,have fun is the name of the game,,
I would love to be able to volunteer!!!! Downfall is Ii am physically challenge so those opportunities are rarely open to “us’. Also yes financially it is not possible. However what you are doing for the autism community as well as the opportunities that those whom do volunteer get to experience by working with those on the spectrum. Thankk you!!!!!!

I went on my first cruise last December. I had a BLAST! Can’t wait to go again. My sister got us to go. She cruises often. I think the whole concept is so cool for families with a special needs child to be able to experience a cruise and not have to worry if your child will like it or not. 😄👍❤️

We took a cruise for our honeymoon in 1997 and would love to do it again. My son has his autism testing in November. I know he would love to cruise. He was supposed to go in 2020 with his grandma and the pandemic stopped that.
I wish I would have known about Autism of the Sea last year when we took our cruise. I left my baby with a babysitter and I missed her so much. I don't know how she would react to the boat.

We would love to and we will do a cruise to Alaska someday. My son can’t do respite though, he has to have a nurse.
