Stan was a very old man at this time. But he had his friend Todd McFarlane up there with him backing him up. Although he was slower in talking than he used to be. He still had his wits. I disagree with these people saying "Poor Stan". Are you kidding? Stan LOVED the fans, he loved being a part of all this. Moments like this were probably some of the last great, beautiful times of his career. Every person in that crowd was looking at him with total love and reverence. Todd included.
@jon porkKirby was not just an artist, he was also a writer. By the way I love this Stan Lee quote... "Jack was the most imaginative, inventive guy I've ever met. I mean, his imagination was incredible, the things he thought of"
@jon pork Fun Fact: Jack Kirby wrote those Marvel Comics and drew them. Stan Lee edited the dialogs suggestions left by Kirby on the Margins of the artwork. Like Alan Moore said, Stan Lee fancied Jack Kirby stories and dialog suggestions.
I look back at the The Comic Book Greats VHS where Stan interviews Todd as his guest, then watching this interview decades later, Todd returning the favor to Stan. Something about that warms my heart and is just beautiful. It all came around full circle in the end. These two are legendary!
Man I love Mr. Lee, it is so hard to watch this now since his passing. I really miss him, seeing him here in this video 9 or more months before his passing is so sad. You can see very visibly he is not in his best shape. I never met him but I feel as if I understand his look on life. - Luke

This was fantastic. Stan is still creating characters, which is incredible at his age, and still working.
