Here’s an idea for a video, you should take a walk to the site of Eastwood train station in between todmorden and hebden. The platforms and building have long since been removed but the large ramp up from the road still exists and where the level crossing was is still a foot crossing. I found a few photos when researching but I’m sure with a deeper dive you would be able to find much more interesting stuff than me! Also there was a mill just up the lane from it, I’m not sure what’s left. Would be cool to find out about it as it is very local to me. Keep up the good work!
Cheers. I'll have a look into it and see what I can come up with. Eastwood station even has the old coal sidings still there, so there's a lot of history 🙂
Very informative my dad came from Birkenhead I didn't know some of your information .Dad was in the Army a military Police Officer was In Libya when this was happening ...
Loved it Matt! You have really put into perspective the devastation the city of Liverpool sadly took all those years ago! Well done mate ⭐️
Cheers, my friend. Also, an absolute pleasure to meet up with you at last. Hopefully, another chance will appear down the line 🙂.

Thanks for watching and for your own info. Best wishes 😊
Great vid Matt, been to crosby a few times - never knew about the beach and the stonework from the War etc
Cheers
I planted trees in crosby and the ground was the same full of smashed red bricks.i
I can imagine they're everywhere
it would be a good idea to plant trees here on beaches
Yeah, maybe. I'm not sure the ground would be stable enough for them here though. A tribute tree or woodland nearby might work?
