Such a creative, hardcore lore! This is one of the most deeply conceptualized and well fleshed out worlds I've ever seen, like Heavy Metal mixed with influences of Norse and Greek Mythology. No wonder so many rock stars were interested in giving their voices to it. Why is it that our ears, minds and souls are still denied the awesomeness of a brutal sequel?
The name Eddie's father has is some sort of symbol to the Nordic Mythos. Ragnarok is both the end and beginning. Rignarok took Siccroa's child, ending her, time, age, and life. But her son became both Humanity's beginning and the Demon's end. Eddie ended his parent's era and begun his own, so that humanity became the new conquer's of the Brutal lands. And most of, if not, all of his family's doings became repeated from both sides of the war. Human's started a rebellion to fight the demons and pushed back The Sea of Black Tears, expect only one drunk from it this time, and actually killed the Tainted Emperor. History has started the watch again. Creating a repeat in time but with different results.
If the Tainted Coil was the new life, then who was hunting them? Who was this "people" they mentioned during the invention of heavy metal? So far as I know, the Tainted Coil were all that was left apart from the titans until the Coil made man.
Alexander Armageddon the titans likely attempted to annihialate them. the game was supposed to be much longer and much larger. mayhaps other races were planned but not implemented. there is at least one subrace who are not allied to the coil, Fleetus' people, who apparently have had cars since forever
@@alackofcaring9662 way I see it.this could mean 2 things. 1.the people (at the time)were the Titans themselves Or 2. In there omnipotent wisdom they knew how humanity would come about and wanted to prepare them.
Maybe it would be a spoiler, but I wish I saw this in the beginning of the game - that would help a lot to understand. Or if the legends were told upon the mission progress. I found only like six artifacts and misunderstood a lot

Yeah i loved how each place and vista looked like a Metal album Cover.
Because th corrupted spirits. That plague this mortal who call them selves....executives. Do not see it quenching their greed
What's the point of something that could never live up to its predecessor?
Mostly because the soundtrack alone would be costly.
There really needs to be Brutal Legend 2.
let's hope eddie will meet his father there
just make it about his father or what happened after everyone is saved
It was candled D:

Loved How you can actually see most of those vistas in game.
This will be always a gem among ppl.
I didn't even mind the RTS elements.
By the Iron Fangs of Ormagoden I have been summoned to bear witness to this history of metal.
Ok i have the setting for my next D&D campaigne..., every characters gets a free lvl of Bard/skald and the Soundtrack would be obvious...
I'm growing chest hair just by watching.
Man Maketh Not The Metal. The Metal Maketh The Man.
Atulias story breakers my heart. She was used by the beings she kept alive and no one came to comfort her.
I love how loud this is. Appropriate for Brutal Legend material. o3o b
that voice O.o
i think it kinda funny that the coil worship a toe nail
yea
I realize just how sick and twisted this game is.
JTM Tim Schaefer is a little messed up in the head.
I prefer this more than evangelion lore.....

Hehe
@@shafiqali7051 why can’t we have a bad ass creation myth like this?
I needed epic in my life, now I'm jazzed up on it.
Favourite Legend everyone? I'm curious.. Mine's Song of the Titans.
Ormagöden and The Unlovable Things is my favorite. I wish there was a guitar solo in game that allowed us to summon him into battle.
The roots of song.atulia reminds me of Persephone or hel for wired reasons
