Raymond Beadle was my favorite Drag Racer !!! Had pictures of the Blue Max hanging on my wall when I was a teenager ! Loved watching him at Atlanta Drag Way in Commerce !!! Lots of fun !!! Thanks Raymond for the memories !!! Good tribute video !!!
As a kid growing up in So Cal in the 60's and early 70's....the iconic dragstrips of the day were made just that much better with Mr. Beadle and the Blue Max. Thank you kindly, for sharing this tribute ✌😎
Thanks so much Stacey for posting this,☺️ I met Raymond at Green Valley raceway in 1985 we matched raced him , I was a crew member on Chris Bergs Texas Yankees funny car from San Antonio ,Tx. He was the nicest guy you want to met. 😊
Thanks for the wonderful memories... Raymond Beadle and the Blue Max seems like we all grew up together...back in the day! I was later friends with him on Facebook, what a gentleman...the world misses this good ole boy!
Looking at these pics just takes me back to the 70s and early 80s when funny cars resembled production vehicles unlike now where they look like a wedge with a bubble on top. Raymond was one of the greatest showmen of the class, one of the first to go 100% nitro, and wasn’t afraid to use up four motors in four rounds.🏆🏁🇨🇱
Saw him many times as a kid when the Blue Max would come to Boise in the late '70s. Him, 'Snake, 'Ace, '240 Gordie, 'Goose. Was a cool time to be introduced to the sport.
Wow, already 10 years that Raymond left us. He will never be forgotten.
