Thanks for another informative video Guy! I am importing one myself and your advice and recommendations have been very helpful. Shame I didn’t find you guys earlier, could have saved myself some stress and confusion trying to do it myself.😅 Awesome boats! Love your vids mate!
The trailer is only rated to 3.5t - what I said was we used parts ie the axles that rate for a 4.5t. So we built it over spec is what I was trying to get across. Hope that makes sense. Cheers Guy
Cheers for the response mate and could I plz have your rwc guy who does your certs or plates contact info plz. Its my understanding especially after November last year TMR have cracked down big time on tandem trailers for this reason. It's not the axle capacity it's actually the braking capacity they are concerned about with all the caravan nomads and back yard builts.. I'm brissy based and would really like to know how it's legal for a new build to be passed!! Thanks guy
For what reason do you refer sorry? We are not towing 4.5t and the braking capacity doesnt require changing. The trailer is rated to 3.5t - the 720 boats on them circa 2t. We dont have a RWC guy we use - we are Rover registered and all our inspections & certifications are done at Dept Transport. My reference which seems to of caused this confusion is the 4.5t axle capacity We could of bought the standard axle (and jockey wheel, winch etc for that matter) for a 3.5t trailer - however we upgraded some parts so in effect the trailer is built stronger than required. Its not legal to under rate your trailer parts obviously - there no issue in making it stronger. Maybe overkill but it just my preference.
Educate yourself mate. The stigma with Chinese manufactured products is still there we know. They have been importing these boats for years. The quality of build is as good as the best.
@@barcrusher don’t make me laugh. You probably tow your Chinese knock off boat behind your brand new Great Wall 4wd while wearing your knock off ray ban sunnies 😂

Looks great ! How much $ for this package ?
Can range from $140k-169k pending your options. This particular one around $159k
Cheers mate , looks great , will be keen to have a look at one in the future .
Did I just see one getting towed between Maryborough and Hervey Bay ?? Would be keen to have a look if that was you 👍
Yes mate - we brought one up recently for fitout from Bris to Townsville
Life Proof makes an entry level for I think $186,000 but they all look awesome. Too rich for me.
Can you organise custom made boat shipped to WA?
Yes mate - we have shipped 2 boats to WA this month already
Who in their right mind is buying a Chinese made boat 😂
