I always hate it when boat companies show you videos of their hulls slicing through a glass-calm lake while telling you how nice they ride... this is a good video showing real conditions.
Nice rig looks nicely finished off. Actually doing a water test in those conditions is what the customer wants to see, well done. Nevertheless, not sure she was chopping through the chop on the head on sea at 16knts, more so riding over the top, But good to see it tracking correctly and definitely showing no sign of broaching in the following sea test, a sign of a good proven design. BTW, if you ever have the chance to drive a fiberglass Whitepointer or a 233 formula in a following sea, with their big carolina flare, now that's is what I call fun.
Thanks Mate - yes its the sloppy swell we get up here. Really short sharp chop when it blows up. We dont get the typical large rolling swell as much due to our proximity inside the reef. Thanks for your comments. Guy
@@MichaelandMaryH Morning Mate - We are actually hoping to collect tomorrow. I will then bring it home for a week or so before it heads to the Break water marina.
Absolutely well customized for the sunny environment and with the more powerful alternator onboard the mercury obm, curious how long would it take to charge the batteries for your troller motor at the bow when it is installed. Appreciate the open water test in these swells to see how the boat and 300hp mercury performed between 20 to 30 knots.

Beautiful boat and nice to see you showcasing how it behaves on the open sea. Have to start saving! 😀👍
This is a great test. Do you have one for the 6.25?
Greetings coming from Indonesia, healthy greetings, always seniors
Greetings. Hope your well. Thankyou
@@seakingnthqld Thank you again, God bless you and always give you good health to continue working in the field of work you are involved in.

I seen the 960 at Townsville marine when I went past the other day. Would be good to see that one in the flesh, it looks massive.
It sure is a big girl!
@@seakingnthqld are you going to have it on display at some stage. Would love to see her.

Yes I do have some customers who installed the trolling motors later so I will find out. Regards. Guy
One thing that should be added is a boat catch on trailer. It makes life soo much easier at ramp and not too expensive.
Yes great idea. We are planning to install one for our next demo boat actually. Guy
If you want to retrieve your drone, catch it out of the air and turn it upside down, the motors will immediately stop
