@@tyronepower2533 thanks mate, it was a punish! I’m not surprised mate, if you take turns you end up pushing some watts… unfortunately no new FTP for me 🥲
@@lincolntrevett9114 great to be hear mate. Will do mate, wanting to visit Brisbane for some riding. Thank you mate, it was a tough slug… biggest week I’ve had on the bike. Will try get another video out in the next few days from yesterdays ride 👍🏻
@@crispyrad I have seen that, a Noosa chop ride has been on my list. Do you know the average pace? I believe it’s about 45ks right? Could potentially go tomorrow 🤔
Hey Max, in a ride like this where someone is riding potentially above their current fitness level, how do you skip turns without disrupting the group's rhythm?
Hey mate, typically you'd have to sit towards the back of the group. My personal opinion, and what I did to be able to last with groups like this, pull turns and just keep doing that week in week out, you'll get dropped but eventually be strong enough to hold on, or you can sit at the back and let people know you don't want a turn haha!
Good stuff brother!
I have had friends to 'the grind', and they always come back with new FTP's! Its crazy!

@@ItsMaxMann Thanks for the reply legend, love the content. So roll turns, get dropped, rinse and repeat for fitness gains?
Such beautiful roads man! Roads in NSW are disgusting!
@@JulAlxAU So much nicer than NSW! I swear there are potholes every 200 m, I’m constantly calling them when in Sydney 😂
@@ItsMaxMannI rode to Hunter yesterday, it’s horrible man! Narrow, f upped roads, as if you are sitting on a giant vibrator! Not pleasant at all.
Max, what’s your FTP man?
@@JulAlxAU my ftp is 337 W according to my Garmin and intervalsicu estimates 334 W. So somewhere in that range, however I’m 93/94 kilos.
