Although I've lived here 6 years, I thoroughly enjoyed the golf cart ride! You and Linda were in my neck of the woods when you were on Pinellas Place, St. Charles and Bailey Trail. Lake Miona recreation is where I participate in water aerobic classes! This particular area is around 12 years old and not far from Lake Sumter Landing! Loved the video showing what a beautiful community we are fortunate enough to live in! I call it "eye candy"! You two are the best! ❤️

I like the banter between you and Linda on the cart rides. My husband and I have been renting for the month of November and we use our golf cart as much as possible. Yesterday we were out driving the cart for 3 hours. You really get to see more of the scenery that way.

That’s what I do everyday try to get out of the house and enjoy my golf cart ride. To Lake Sumter, Spanish Springs and Brownwood, have a nice lunch. Sometimes fine a golf course with a tee time opening. Or back home to Gunny and Sarge. Love The Villages. Thank you for bring exciting travels around the Villages. Ty for posting this! Amazing to make this, edit, and post so fast!!! Have had illness in the family and other problems this year, so Thanksgiving is difficult. Unexpected gift to hv some fun with Jerry and Linda 😀. Prayers 🙏 and thoughts to those who r lonely or have down feelings today.
My wife loves to take GC rides to look at TV. We live up north in the village of Del Mar and have taken many rides south over the Turnpike. When friends come to visit we have them drive one of our carts and head south we all head south.

HI to you both, we've lived in the Villages for 12 years. The designer homes you were talking about along Buenaventura Vista used to be a field of buffalo.
I love the sheet pancake for a large. We had eight in our family growing up and I wish I hand known this then. So helpful. Love all the videos now. More please. Love your cooking style. It is much like my own. I enjoy your style of real life videos. Thank you so much for the time and extra energy it takes to film for us. Seeing the sheet pancake in the oven made me wonder if you do french toast in the oven too?

Finally found time to watch this video. It was great to take a ride around TV. It's funny, I was following along on Google Maps, then you made mention of some viewers perhaps following along on Google Maps. Then when you said "lollygagging", I looked it up to verify the correct usage, and sure enough, you made mention of that too. I stayed with you for the entire trip. Thank you. As a person considering the Villages in the near future, I really enjoy these types of videos (and especially the bike ride ones). It would be kind of cool to show a map of your route for us newbies to get a better bearing (maybe at the beginning). No biggie. Thanks again for the video.

We live in Collier and I love the views here. We (my husband and I) always comment about "what a beautiful day in The Villages" it is.

Actually, palms love hot and cold weather, they grow even better in the desert where people don't water them and put blankets over them. They actually love the snow and grow better in the deserts where they hardly get water. The same way roses in Europe grow better where they have the four seasons and they are never covered up with blankets. If you cover them up, they're not getting air and the leaves can't breath, it's like you're choking them and that's why they wilt and die because people think they need a blanket like horses, by covering them up with a blanket. In the wild, horses run even more so they don't feel cold and don't have a blanket in the first place in the wild. I found that out for myself as well, as we adore palms and have palm trees. If we water them too much, they literally die. Once you plant them and give them very little water once a week, they're a lot more happy than to water them three times a week. In the desert, they live without water. Covering them up is just choking them to death, just like roses that we have done and they died as opposed to the ones in Europe that are never covered up and they keep coming back for decades, especially the ones at Buckingham palace that the queen adored in one of her many gardens and they're never covered up in the wintertime.

I live in the village of Amelia. My favorite ride in my cart is on Buena Vista between Lake Miona rec center and Palmer CC, especially when the many azaleas are in bloom. 😀

My realtor told me that the veranda homes are designer homes with fenced backyards. And I wanted a veranda because of the backyard. Some homes I looked at had very small backyards and some larger. I'm on a corner so my lot is larger and I got it not only for my dogs but because I'd like to put in a pool at some point. Just getting my golf cart that I ordered on Monday and I'm a little nervous about driving it. People like to go a lot faster than I probably feel comfortable at this point. I'm going to be one of those little Pokey ones. At least at first.
