    I like how he did the layers with the skate board one. :)

      @Animatortor  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Same here! A lot of his animations are layered up like that... it's so fascinating to see how he does it... he takes a scene and breaks it down and then separately animates all the different pieces - genius! 😎

    Amazing. One of the things that i think defines a great filmmaker is the ability to make something that is captivating. It takes you somewhere you've never been before, and you end up looking at it with child-like wonder no matter how old you are. His work is like that.

    • @Animatortor
      @Animatortor  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I couldn't agree more! His work is mesmerising... and magical in all the ways you have said. Watching his stuff fills me with excitement over what is possible and how I can develop and grow more as an animator and creator myself :) Hope you're having a lovely week so far :)

    Never heard of him before so thanks for this video. :)
    I wish he would upload to TH-cam. That one where the plush toys are being turned into clouds (March 5th) is my favourite I think. Absurdly good animator.

    • @Animatortor
      @Animatortor  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He's rather unknown due to only really being on Instagram... I mean he has over 100K over there... so he not small, but yeah I wish he was on TH-cam too. I like that one with the clouds too. Honestly his work is so addictive to watch... I was doing what you do and watching things through frame-by-frame to see how it was done. It's super inspiring as well has made me want to level up in many ways and try more complex ideas :) Hope your week is going well so far

    I remember the first time I saw his work, I thought it was part of an advert or something and had a team working behind it, cool but not mind blowing , then I kept seeing more and more of his work and was shocked about the qulity turn over from this "studio" so I looked more in to it and couldn't belive it was one person doing this level of work this fast. Mind more than sufficiently blown.

      He is in absolutely phenomenal talent... I was the same... like how is he making these masterpieces so fast!?! Super human 😂It inspires me to work harder and make even better stuff though... love that, like he makes me want to level up

    You should get a finders fee for sharing the artists in your documentary series with us all 🙂.
    Great post as always and you have introduced me to another animator I did not know about.

      @Animatortor  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's a great idea, haha! A finders fee would be an amazing thing. Awesome, I am so pleased, he is such a talent. I think Patagraph will be new to most people, I don't think he is on TH-cam at present. I want to keep mixing up the series and keeping it fresh :) Thanks so much Stephen and hope you're having a lovely week so far

      Just keep animating, your stuff is great. Maybe try acting stuff out and use that footage as reference to learn more about how to pace your movements. Th best advice is practice, practice, practice - just keep making and having fun and you'll naturally keep improving your skills :)

      You can animate anywhere, build a set on the floor or on a desk. Do you have a spare room? I used to animate on the dining table when I lived with my parents, and often at night so I wasn't in the way during the day
