I googled Abida and found out she is a "singer, composer, musician, painter, and entrepreneur. She is one of the highest paid singers in Pakistan. In an interview in 2013 about her Islamic culture and her life she said, 'My culture - our culture - is rich in spirituality and love. . . . I'm not a man or a woman, I'm a vehicle for passion.' " She also said, 'Sufism is not a switch, the music isn't a show - its all of life, it is religion...'
