Simon Yates didn't have the experience in GT's, he chased down everything, wanted to win everything and burned out. This and the TT is where he lost the Giro.
Can people just shut up about doping allegations and enjoy races? Everyone accused Froome of doping because he didn't perform as we're used to. Now he's getting accusations of doping because he managed to dominate one stage. People accuse Yates of doping because he performs every stage. It's impossible to win nowadays without someone accusing you of doping. I'm not saying they're all clean, but it's entertaining to watch, and shouldn't that be all that matters. Let the anti-doping agency worry about riders doping.
Froome is getting accused of doping because his A sample contained massive amounts of Salbutomol - more than could have been consumed with an inhaler and more than could ever be used for the management of asthma. He should not be racing at all and the UCI are to blame for this situation. His performance on Zoncolan only serves to make the whole thing look worse. From zero to hero on one stage just brings back to mind the Armstrong blood doping days - especially when he was back to nowhere again today.
It's an undisclosed investigation that was leaked. Every other rider that's under a hidden investigation gets to participate in races. His performance on Zoncolan doesn't matter because people would've hammered on either way. Of course, he's looking bad today. Have you never gone full out one day and paid for it the next?
Hence the point about the UCI. Six months is too long. The general mistrust that results is both understandable and frankly, sad. And for sure, I've gone out hard one day and paid for it the next. On the other hand, I've never been miles off the front for days and days, then magically smashed the rest of my group on one day and then disappeared the next. Where there's smoke...
It would be far more suspicious if he was always untouchable, it's natutal to have ups and downs - and how is a win by literally 5 seconds "untouchable"?

Are we going to get Cosmo's view on this.
I have never seen an equal battle on a tough climb since I started watching cycling. What an epic show of power.
You started watching cycling like a month ago?
Cudos to the marshals!

ruwiki did you try looking at the video?
HE IS BACK
SwedishHouseFifa with his inhaler?

What do you guys think about tom dumoulin?
I think he can still do nice things in the time trial and the prato nevoso
The power of puf..
I can't stand the way Frome peddles so fast.
Why does the motorcycle guy carry a bike up
Is it due to team cars not been allowed up?
yeah team cars weren't allowed up the climb
tom sheard yeah.
That's the zoncolan 🤣😂. Doing it with a car is almost impossible, to avoid accidents they dont allow cars in

Froome re-establishes himself as the world's top climber..:)
Strange he drops at all previous short climbs and now he's suddenly the best?
Less than 5mins and no results shown! Yeah!!Thanks!!
Onoda vs Manami
Race on
When you look at the difference in Lance climbing and Frooms, it's just huge. Lance had style.
Fueled by elevates testosterone and powered by EPO. Contador had an actual style
was it a bluff all along?
he was suffering from his crashes before
Yes. His plan was to make up three minutes in seven stages
British cycling remains suspect.
No they don't
sto doping please #chris froom
Lopez gooo Astana team
They should check Froome
TOM DUMOULIN 🇳🇱
best to stop the video so you don't ruin your own memories of that stage. 👎
stop doping please #chris froom
Seems highly suspect to me. Froome's been nowhere on earlier climbs and then today - magically - he's all of a sudden untouchable again...

Terbutaline vs Salbutamol
God Froome's style is awful to watch!!
Horrible..!
I love his style.
Smokey with his high cadence? That’s extraordinary
What about Yates? Or Pozzovivo? Come on, as long as it wins races, that's sexy AF.
stop doping please
Salbotamol is the key of winning..lol
great final race
