I really enjoy watching all your videos.. I'm a 911 Dispatcher and it's nice to see how the 911 cell calls are processed from a cell site.. Keep up the great work !!
Really need the commentary... otherwise those of us who watch just because we are interested in it have no idea what we are looking at or what it does.
There are controllers on the towers that cause the lights to turn on and off, and some of the bulbs have both white and red diodes in them to change from daytime to nighttime
Also, please if possible give a tour of a submarine cable landing station, I've always wanted to see one. If it's even remotely possible for you in the near future.
A narrated version would be awesome!
Add actually really like a narrated more in-depth version of the different components as well as the way they're linking and things like that

I use to overhaul cell sites back in 2007 with a small outfit in edina. I would love to go out and do this again someday it was fun.

I want the narrated nitty-gritty! 73 DE W8LV BILL (also hold a Commercial Telegrapher license... Haven't found any recent job openings for this! 🤣)
Something I find interesting is the red beacon. It's an LED but it fades off like an old school bulb.

@@jamess1787 I'm aware of that.

The white boxes next to the antennas, are they still using LNA's on top and fiber to site on ground?

Both
How do I get this training? Seems cool?
What is the maximum height you can put the antennas?
So many variables to answer that correclty. The highest i ever put a cell site was 580.
