I love these types of videos, especially with black and white photos. As a fellow Leica enthusiast, I enjoyed this one a lot as well. Great shots. Everyone seemed so happy to have their photo taken. New subscriber.
Michael, as usual a great video and it’s amazing what can be accomplished with a kindly smile and a nod. Your pictures are black and white at it’s best, nice and contrasty thanks to the pin sharp Leica lens.
Hey, I really really loved this video :’) I loved how everyone really engaged with your shots and didn’t turn away. Makes such a good roll! I loved that you used Vietnamese songs too :’) P.S. I’m Viet so this is really touching. Thanks for uploading :) Inspires me to get back there to do exactly what you’re doing! Hope things normalise soon! Have a good one :)
Hey there 😊 I really appreciate that! I loved the journey in Vietnam and photographing there is amazing. The people are just so nice. I wish you all the best and maybe you get there sooner or later 😊
Great video! I just picked up my first Leica M6 yesterday. With the shots with a large shallow depth of field, are you zone focusing them??? If so, that's incredible. Or are you getting in the ballpark of range and then manual focusing the rest??
jae rose Hi Jae! Congrats on your M6... You will love it 😀 yeah, I'm always pre focusing, so that I have to do only minor adjustments. On this episode I did only one real zone focusing shot, where I shot from the hip.
Love your photowalk

I notice that you are always aiming at the ground or nearby before you take your shot. Are you taking a meter reading?
Michael Bahu Hi Micheal! Yeah, that's meter reading. When I have the time, I guess I tend to do it all the time ;)
楽しそうだね!
