@@NeonAries I have never eaten one, although birds and small animals do eat them. Poison oak often grows along side it, a plant that is much like poison ivy, so we always avoided tromping through it. Salal is a nice, shrubby plant.
@@NeonAriesI’ve tasted them! They taste like a cross between a blueberry and a lingonberry. Sweet but also a bit tart, they make very good jam! We had salal and huckleberries and wild strawberries growing in the yard growing up, all very good to eat. You can even eat the new leaves of salal though they just taste like leaves.

Most likely someone has told you this already. But I wanted to write it to you anyway - just in case: 1. Keep on emptying your fishponds manually. If you reset them beforehand all of your fish will be deleted. At least that’s how I know it from the vanilla game. 2. You can get rid of the Nauseated debuff by eating ginger. Birdie hints this by saying that it helps with stomach problems. 3. I enjoy all of your Stardew Valley videos immensely. Please keep on creating this wonderful content. It makes my life so much better.

Ok I know you posted this a long time ago but this play through is the one that’s convinced me to play Stardew expanded. I’m much more of a goal player rather than a story enjoyer, but the story I’ve seen here was actually really heartwarming and I know there’s more to discover!
I think there's been a couple of minor updates to Stardew expanded since I uploaded this video so hopefully there'll be a ton of new stuff for you to discover in it. I really hope you enjoy it, it's such an amazing mod especially in terms of story and characters!
YEAH! I'm glad you love them! I haven't made as many wrestling references in the last few videos I've made but there's a couple in the most recent one I uploaded. It's a lot of fun making those references
Started a new SDV run watching this. I also picked up the Better Mixed Seeds & Shop Overhaul mods. I'm calling it a fair trade off for playing the game "normally" instead of running around with the tractor mod the whole time :D
Have fun with both of those mods! The shop overhaul mod is especially handy and it's pretty exciting seeing all of the new items that have been added to everyone's shops. Just a little tip, the more friendship you have with a villager, the cheaper the added items in their shop will be :)
It probably simplifies the game a lot more than the Tractor mod does, though. It pretty much lets you skip engaging with a majority of the game's systems and instead focus entirely on making money. No need to rush Farming to get access to sprinklers and kegs, for example. No need to level foraging in time for the summer thunderstorms either. Skull cavern? What's the point? Buy the stuff instead. Animal products for bundles? No need for any barns, just buy from Marnie. Oak farm and tappers by the dozens for your keg Empire? Buy the kegs directly instead. The balance seems a bit iffy as well. Why does Crystalariums cost 50k when the iridum sprinkler is only 2.5k? The only difference between the two recipes is 4 gold bars, 1 iridium bar, and 99 stone... Other than that outlier, though, it feels like prices are way too low across the board, making it an absolute no-brainer to buy the things rather than craft them.
This was an awesome play-through. I really enjoyed your perspective and the long video style. Much easier to sit back and relax when you don't have to click on something new every 10 minutes. SVE mod is a really good mod. I've never seen Sophia's last heart event. It was so cool! I might add the Mixed Seeds and Shop Overhaul mods on my next run. They seemed really helpful. I also love Morgan, they are adorable! Apples just steals my heart though. A baby junimo without a guardian? I would 100% adopt that munchkin instead of having kids in a heartbeat if the mod allowed that option. They're so cute. ^_^

Started a new SDV run watching this. I also picked up the Better Mixed Seeds & Shop Overhaul mods. I'm calling it a fair trade off for playing the game "normally" instead of running around with the tractor mod the whole time :D
Have fun with both of those mods! The shop overhaul mod is especially handy and it's pretty exciting seeing all of the new items that have been added to everyone's shops. Just a little tip, the more friendship you have with a villager, the cheaper the added items in their shop will be :)
It probably simplifies the game a lot more than the Tractor mod does, though. It pretty much lets you skip engaging with a majority of the game's systems and instead focus entirely on making money. No need to rush Farming to get access to sprinklers and kegs, for example. No need to level foraging in time for the summer thunderstorms either. Skull cavern? What's the point? Buy the stuff instead. Animal products for bundles? No need for any barns, just buy from Marnie. Oak farm and tappers by the dozens for your keg Empire? Buy the kegs directly instead.
The balance seems a bit iffy as well. Why does Crystalariums cost 50k when the iridum sprinkler is only 2.5k? The only difference between the two recipes is 4 gold bars, 1 iridium bar, and 99 stone... Other than that outlier, though, it feels like prices are way too low across the board, making it an absolute no-brainer to buy the things rather than craft them.

This was an awesome play-through. I really enjoyed your perspective and the long video style. Much easier to sit back and relax when you don't have to click on something new every 10 minutes. SVE mod is a really good mod. I've never seen Sophia's last heart event. It was so cool! I might add the Mixed Seeds and Shop Overhaul mods on my next run. They seemed really helpful.
I also love Morgan, they are adorable! Apples just steals my heart though. A baby junimo without a guardian? I would 100% adopt that munchkin instead of having kids in a heartbeat if the mod allowed that option. They're so cute. ^_^
