honestly - and no disrespect meant to the other SDV youtubers out there - imo, he's the best. he has a lovely voice, he brings so much of his delightful personality, he references wrestling which is charming even though I know absolutely nothing about it except for that one guy whose entrance music is this epic, dramatic rock violin, and all of his series? serieses? are distinct and interesting. I think what really sets him apart is I watch the videos for his humor and personality, and the SDV stuff is also there lol

I can't believe how many plants this man watered with a basic watering can.
right? I typically only plant 40-50 crops before I have quality sprinklers because I don't usually enjoy the watering part lol I don't want to waste time doing it more than I absolutely have to

I loved this video. Looking forward to se more. I got inspired whit the lootboxes, but i was unable to increase the value for the boxes and get better items. So i got bored after year 3.

Hey there! Have you tried editing the config file within the mod folder? I had the same issue and it took me some time messing with the settings to get it how I liked! Let me know if you want me to send you what I ended up changing. It can be tricky to get it how you like it though/to understand what each value means in game. I love that mod!!

@@AlexandrashirleyH Haha no worries at all! The mailservices mod became one of my favorite mods ever!! I become friends with villagers so quickly. Makes the game so much more enjoyable :)

@drashirleyH Yes absolutely. Ok so the difference between the lootbox mod (called overworld chests) and other popular mods, is that you have to change the settings in the mod folder itself and not in the game. Like, within the stardew mods folder. If you can find the overworld chests folder, look inside, and find the "config.json" text file, then you can edit the mod's settings.
I messed around with mine to get it how I liked it. The mod description and comments offer more insight into what each value means. For example, I wanted cooked dishes and fish to show up, so I set each to "100" so they would have a chance to appear. I altered the coinbase min and max to be higher, so I would get more money each time I opened the chests. These are the settings I ended up with. If you want the original settings, take a look at the mod page. The creator also lists the original settings if you want to redo it.
