Please inform your Momma that you can just buy candle wicks at craft stores. Watching her take so much time and effort to try to melt down and cut a candle just for a wax-covered wick when she could just buy a 20-pack of unwaxed wicks for $5 at Joann's was a bit painful. 😂
It works better if you take the butter candle OUT of the container before inserting in the loaf of bread. Then as the butter melts some of it soaks into the bread.😊
This doesn’t work on any level. The idea of having melted butter soaked bread is so unappetizing to me. When you get bread and butter the butter doesn’t arrive melted. So gross.

Oh my goodness, I just found your channel and I have non-stop binged every short and I'm onto your videos now. I freaking ADORE you and your Momma! She is just the sweetest thing!
What I would have done, so maybe for Christmas dinner, wrap the loaf of bread in aluminum and warm it up the bread in the oven before dropping the candle in the middle- that will help the butter melt quicker too! :). Also, maybe use a smaller container for the butter- that amount of butter would be enough spread for an 'army of loaves'- it would be ok if the container was set in deep in the hole, it doesn't need to be to the top. I love the idea of this as a center piece though! 😊😊. You've given me really good ideas!
