I gave it my best shot and tried to watch this game but ended up preferring ALA TN and then Boise ST and BYU. Just more entertaining brand of football. ! Despite all of the hoopla the white out thing the noise etc, these are the two dullest football teams to watch in college football Seems like all these big 10 teams are exactly alike. They all play big, white and slow, and that makes for a dull experience for the casual observer. (Throw Notre Dame in that mix as well.) While that philosophy may be the ticket to victory in the Big 10 it sure is no recipe for success if the goal is to win or even be competitive for national championships most if not all of the time.
Dennis Smathers I feel what you’re saying brother. But the new recruiting system has every big program flocking to get Florida, Texas and California recruits like the gold rush. So the big ten has to make do with the best football players from the Midwest. But make no doubt about it. These slow white dudes can play some football it’s in the blood of of Ohio, penn and Michigan football players. These teams are able to beat your Alabama’s Clemson’s and Oklahoma’s. But where the big ten messes up when they play those teams. Is that they totally switch up their style when they play those teams. Instead of sticking with big ten football ( hard nose). They try and get fancy and become pass happy spread formation wannabes. Big ten beats themselves. Because that old school brand of football still works in 2019. Keep Alabama and tua off the field and you leave your team with a great chance to win the game in the fourth quarter.
@@xaviourcammon1475 Id like to think you are right, but as I envision either one of these teams lining up against Clemson, (or Alabama) I see a 30 point loss. They simply arent quick enough, mobile enough or fast enough to deal with the top echelon ACC SEC programs. I am not sure Oklahoma is either. Yall need to schedule some of these quality teams as non conference opponents to at least SEE what you are up against. You might do well, who knows? But I think they will show some glaring weakness in the Big 10 game, and right quick. This is JMO, based on some lopsided playoff scores in playoff games.

I don’t know. If they play like that against OSU in first half, they will be down 28-7, or 28-0. Penn State looks like team most likely to beat OSU now. Love to see Minnesota undefeated going into Big Ten Title game against OSU though. I think Michigan does not have the players to beat OSU yet.

great chimdale that’s a good thing? That’s what he wants. He doesn’t want any of the those young guys feeling at fault, he’ll take all the blame gladly
Lmbo...he should have gotten the blame a 58 yrd fg try on 4th and 6 with your short distance college kicker on a grass turf wtf...He should have gone 4 the first down.
KJ Hamler for the Heisman Trophy, or at least for the Biletnikoff Trophy! His quarterback Sean Clifford says Hamler is the most electrifying player in the country.
Best game I watched on Saturday was this one - by far. Michigan almost pulled it out on road at Penn state - not easy to do. Buckeyes did it few years ago. Two good defenses and both offenses were relentless. Great game
I was there many yrs ago for a night game against Miami... WOW You could easily drink yourself to death if you don't pace yourself. Getting there at 010:00 don't help either.
this is why I love college football will never stop watching it every year so entertaining and you can feel the goosebumps even at home. I’m from alabama but penn state is my favorite team hopefully one of these years we can make the final four or beat Ohio state go psu
As a Michigan fan, we should have gone to overtime but I am somewhat happy. Our offense showed it can play pretty well and converted on 4th down like 3 times. Shea especially fought hard that second half
Whiteout game is the most electric game of EVERY college football season. I look forward to it every year 7:53 lol most dramatic moment of this entire season already. The crowd was already celebrating and everything too lol
Two of the refs waved arms back and forth and the fans saw that and celebrated because waving their arms back and forth means it was down at the 1. They changed their call after digging through the pile...almost as like Patterson couldn't go across the goalline after he was down.
Damn what a game. Coming from a Michigan fan I would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed but the way we played against that team in the second half was phenomenal. If we were to play that all game, we would have won 42-7 again. Some of the calls against the refs were for sure questionable but that doesn’t take away the fact that Michigan fought from being down 21-0
You lost.... And if Hammler didn't get hurt it would have been worse. Michigan needs a nee coach since yall just lost to a penn state team without miles or saquon or Tompkins..
SmithN' Wesson ok we may have just lost to a RANKED 7 team but let’s go back to North Carolina. You guys barely squeaked past them and you can say. “Oh well we didn’t play good”, but I am sure as hell we didn’t play good in this first half. We have played 4 ranked teams and are about to play Notre Dame and how many ranked teams have you fucking played? Yeah the only reason people think Clemson is such a great team is because of how many ass teams and then they go and almost lose to them? Don’t come down on our team because your just to damn depressed about your own.
Ever since Tate Fortier (remember him?)...it's been the same hype. It's not the talent coming in, it's the coaching inability and lack of a strong building culture. The numbers don't lie. 15 years ago is a LONG TIME ago to hang your hat on something as "relevant".
Ford7 Highlights right, it’s like we’re not supposed to be excited about our favorite team at the beginning of every season. I’ll fucking say we’re gonna win the B1G at the beginning of the season until they actually do it lol
I can see so many similarities between how Michigan played here and when they lost to OSU in 2018. Patterson throwing instead of the offense trying to run the ball turned the game around and when the catches were made that crowd got nervous. Excited to see how the offense and a new QB look for the 2020 season. Minnesota is excited to test our new strength against a team that steamrolled us back in 2017.
It is hard not to want to react harshly, but I am not a fan of how Michigan tend to set themselves up for failure by playing without passion at the beginning of ballgames, the one thing that has improved has been their ability to recover and make a game of it after a while, but that is far from what anyone can call playoff quality. I am not a fan of Patterson’s play, but it may have to do with their offensive scheme rather than the quarterback.
Incredible game between this to legendary colleges! I wanted the game to keep going 👍💪🤣🤣. This kids have a great future in the NFL. This are teams Alabama needs to play !!! I'm a Dallas Cowboys n sure Jerry Jones was watching this game lol
Michigan played with heart, from a PSU fan. That missed holding call on that one drive was horrendous though. Officiating has been trash at all levels.
What a heartbreaker.....Don’t worry Michigan fans. No more heartbreaking losses on the horizon. You’ll be back to losing by double digits the rest of the season.
Speed Media he is a bad coach. Instead of capitalizing on harbaughs stupid field goal choice he goes hold my beer harbaugh I’ll show u who the real dumbass is and proceeds to use terrible clock management even though he has 3 timeouts.
Sorry to say but Jim needs to transfer also. He has made us good again though. But we have the talent too not lose by 21 at Wisconsin or be down by 21 at Penn State. The team is prepared by the coaching staff and the head coach is in charge. Go Blue!
NittanyYankeePride CC I worded it wrong I’m just saying if Michigan wasn’t fazed by the Penn State crowd early on they would’ve won cause they clearly were the better team in that game
NittanyYankeePride CC Michigan had way more yards and figured out Penn State fast and if it weren’t for some simple mistakes they would’ve won and I’m not a Michigan fan I’m the exact opposite being an Ohio State fan
Harbaugh should just use the one kicker for bombs and the other for the accuracy. Figure out his distance and there you go. Not that hard to know your players capabilities
Brent Pry got out played in the second half and once again terrible playcalling from Rahne and the refs weren’t giving us any help for the second straight week, but a win is a win. Props to Michigan for a hard fought game tho.
Michigan did kinda choke but they couldn’t catch the ball with Penn defenders draped all over them and pulling on their jerseys. Very poor officiating. Call anything on Michigan and let Penn play how they want. Pitiful. Suspend the whistle clowns
As an Ohio state fan, this game showed me coach franklin is not an elite coach and he is the reason they almost let this game slip, and Harbaugh’s TTUN has never had a roster complete enough to compete with the best teams in the nation. Btw JT wasn’t short
Adam Jung Definitely tricky. The only thing with them is they have played literally nobody. They almost lost every non conference game against some pretty bad teams and so far in the big ten it’s been the bottom teams that they’ve beaten. We shall see
I disagree, So a defense can gang tackle a runner but the offense can’t do nothing but just watch their teammate get tackled?? That’s dumb logic to me always has been. The offense should be able to help or get rid of gang tackling and make it fair. Now that just sounds idiotic doesn’t it.
@L3- -37 or maybe throwing dimes and leading his team to victory with 4 total tds he has much to improve on though hes a soph and 1st year starter. Btw I'm not a Brady or Pat fan.
Have to give props to the penn state fans as a Buckeye fan.. I pity opposing QB’s trying to compete against the absolute insanity of that loud White Sea
Interior of the trenches are killing my wolverines. However, the coaching has us done a ton of favors either. I love Don Brown and I will always lean towards an aggressive style, with that being said when you don’t have the depth in the interior or the speed of Peppers on your defense you can’t always go for a kill shot and expect your rush to get home. This is why we continually get bombed, as we are also trusting our safeties and lbs way too much in single coverage. Harbaugh also botched it with his game management too. Why kick a 58 yarder? You know if you go for it and don’t get, the ball is at the same spot as a missed kick, right? That was just dumb. Then they took off way too much time in the red zone and screwed themselves with the clock. Then he uses his last timeout on a spot he knew he wouldn’t win? Just doesn’t make any sense. I like this coaching staff a lot. We’ve missed too much in recruiting, which is ultimately why this season hasn’t gone to play, but the coaches still get these guys to play really hard. Just some of the decisions and strategies I don’t get. People want championships and rightfully so, but throwing out the baby with bath water won’t do anything. Who are we going to get that’s better than Harbaugh? He obviously has his flaws but also has a lot of great qualities. Keep building. Admit mistakes. Stay humble. Keep working. There’s no reason in crying and blowing everything up just bc it doesn’t meet everyone’s sky high expectations. Also, newsflash; you’re expectations will probably never be met bc we’re not a southern school, we have high academic standards and we recruit/ play against OSU ND and PSU.

I want to question you on how you felt on a couple of early calls? Should the offensive PI been called on the first TD and should the Defensive PI have been called on the 4th down? Just wondering.
Michigan sucks
Ethan Kibbey the first one yes absolutely should’ve been PI. The last one I’m not sure, was just good defense but almost an amazing offensive play
???? ¿¿¿¿ no you
man that was a good ball game. feel bad for harbaugh tho cause he's gonna get all the blame
great chimdale that’s a good thing? That’s what he wants. He doesn’t want any of the those young guys feeling at fault, he’ll take all the blame gladly
It was a great game for sure
Lmbo...he should have gotten the blame a 58 yrd fg try on 4th and 6 with your short distance college kicker on a grass turf wtf...He should have gone 4 the first down.
He is the head coach...? He is the one who should get the blame.
@@jayzachary9709 that was kinda stupid... gotta admit
K J Hamler cant be stopped.
WE ARE!!!!!
KJ Hamler for the Heisman Trophy, or at least for the Biletnikoff Trophy! His quarterback Sean Clifford says Hamler is the most electrifying player in the country.
Kinda scary to think he's only a sophomore and will get even better the next two years
@@jerrybulger5267 he is so good its scary ! He will be leaving penn state after next yr for the N. F. L draft.
3:30 "He jarts down the sideline"
Best game I watched on Saturday was this one - by far. Michigan almost pulled it out on road at Penn state - not easy to do. Buckeyes did it few years ago. Two good defenses and both offenses were relentless. Great game
Illinois upset win over Wisconsin and BYU's upset over Boise State were also great games to watch. Oregon's win over Washington was another good game.
Penn state atmosphere 👌 can’t wait for the hype when penn state and Ohio state meetup
They have to go to Columbus to play them.
Bobby DeNezza i know
3:32 “and he JARTS down the sideline”
Zach Shult lmao so I’m not the only one that caught that
Thank you Sean Clifford
9:35 He reallly dropped that touchdown 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
I was at this game
And it was probably the best time I’ve had in a while
interventionX Bruv so was Fritz Nussbaum. Did you see him?
I was there many yrs ago for a night game against Miami... WOW You could easily drink yourself to death if you don't pace yourself. Getting there at 010:00 don't help either.
What the name of the ending war chant you know ? 10:00 - 10:19
This is the best Michigan looked all year... Especially after the first quarter. Sad they lost, but hopefully they rebound against ND next week.
Chris Cuozzo plus Michigan always plays way better at home
no the team of 2015 was way better with ruddock, butt, peppers, charlton, darboh and chesson !
this is why I love college football will never stop watching it every year so entertaining and you can feel the goosebumps even at home.
"Jim Harbaugh is the greatest coach we've ever had!" - Every Ohio State fan
Nah, that was Rich Rodriguez
@@diggingmystyle lol... good one
It's not that. It's just every Michigan fan sees him as the next loyd carr. If that's the new standard for what a carr is, then God help them.
I think he’s just swell.
November 30 2019, rematch, it in Ann arbor , Michigan
WE ARE PENN STATE!!!!
jared Henning THE OHIO STATE
i second ..WE ARE PENN ST!!!!!
More like state pen with all those sexual assault problems
Lucky138able crazy how that’s the only thing you can say
Whiteout game is the most electric game of EVERY college football season. I look forward to it every year
7:53 lol most dramatic moment of this entire season already.
@@smithnwesson990 worry about your own team.... who barely beat an unranked North Carolina team in the easiest power 5 conference in the country.
@@smithnwesson990 They've LOST to more PSU teams that didn't have those three than to PSU teams that did...FYI.
God damn you're quick with these

Michigan should not go down on rankings, Penn State should steal Wisconsin’s number 6
WolfHowl penn state should be 5
Well duh
@@josh77star Lol gtfoh. Oklahoma dominated West Virginia they ain't dropping.
There's only one top 10 worthy team in all the Big Ten.
@@BudTezzy2345 Is it Rutgers? Please tell me it is Rutgers!
Sean Clifford and KJ Hamler are underrated players in the nation. Hamler should be a top candidate for the Biletnikoff Trophy.
The problem with that duo is that Clifford has other weapons to choose from, but he rather focus on KJ most of the time.
Great game.
Thanks, VicVal. You're tops.
Just here for the Harbaugh comments 🤣🤣🤣
#8! AROUND OUR WAY WE CALL THAT "BUTTER FINGERS!" CATCH DA BALL SON.
Michigan fans every year: “We are winning the Big Ten. We have one of the best defense. [Insert QB here] is one of the best, watch out for him!”
Ever since Tate Fortier (remember him?)...it's been the same hype. It's not the talent coming in, it's the coaching inability and lack of a strong building culture. The numbers don't lie. 15 years ago is a LONG TIME ago to hang your hat on something as "relevant".
The 2 & 3 string are better than Patterson
Nicholas Taiariol lmao I laughed for a good 10 seconds after reading your comment, fucking gold man. Haha
Ford7 Highlights right, it’s like we’re not supposed to be excited about our favorite team at the beginning of every season. I’ll fucking say we’re gonna win the B1G at the beginning of the season until they actually do it lol
@Ford7 Highlights I mean yea pretty much. You don't see Maryland, or Kansas claiming they're gonna win when we all know they're not.
I can hear the Tick Tock Crocodile from Peter Pan coming for Harbaugh
Was watching the game to see KJ in action. the Hamler. he is in Denver now. hold on defenses. !!!
Feels weird watching this without the INSANE opening play with the crowd
There’s a lot of pro names in this game
Awesome game.
🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
For both teams.
The offense looked like they turned a corner and started utilizing our plus perimeter weapons. The defense...Heartbreaking loss, Go Blue!!!
Everyone knew he was gonna drop the pass to tie the game because its the Michigan way
Actually against Penn State, historically, things usually go wrong for them.
LOL!!!
7:55 Imagine being at the bottom of that pile 😂🙏
I would of been going crazy
That's where football reverts to rugby.
Cfb 25 is based off this one game 😂
Dude missed a 58 fg by 2 yards and the announcers act like he's a complete joke and terrible kicker...smh
No, they were just surprised that Nordin didn't kick it because there isnt a question, that he has the power to make a 58 yarder.
Oh you know number 8 gonna be running laps
😂🤣😂🤣😂
Jack Trippin777 he’s our leading receiver?
No he won't. He made a mistake after playing a great game. He doesn't deserve to be punished for that, why pour salt on the wound?
6:55 play of the game. KJ Hamler dominated Michigan’ defense. Even on that 100 yard kickoff return that got called back
KJ is dynamic, but if he is Penn State's passing game, they shouldn't expect to beat Ohio State, Michigan State, or Minnesota.
The great Charles Woodson said it best " im embarrassed" and so am i Chuck...go blue
Seasons over now. 😞 Better luck next year Michigan. Smh Guess I'll turn my attention to basketball and see what they gonna do this year.
Maybe if y'all play good the rest of the season y'all can get a decent bowl game like the tortillas bowl or something.
@@asadfalconsfan1851 Ah yes... the highly prestigious "Tortilla Bowl". LOL
We need more consistency in our offense and not just big plays noah Cain need more touches early
Ken Mccoy aka ur offense is trash without hamler.
Ken Mccoy PSU needs to be aggressive on both sides of the ball ALL game long.
1984 Alumnus
@@blankname6629 Well it's a ranked trash...bet you cant beat anyone out there so stfu.
Super curious why Noah Cain only get 5 touches tonight
Harbaugh isnt going anywhere. Michigan would be dumb to fire him.
Lol
Game shouldn’t have ended like that. Love Ronnie bell but he definitely shoulda caught that.
This is an awesome channel!
It broke my ❤️...... When harbaugh called me time out on the first play
Incredible game between this to legendary colleges! I wanted the game to keep going 👍💪🤣🤣. This kids have a great future in the NFL. This are teams Alabama needs to play !!! I'm a Dallas Cowboys n sure Jerry Jones was watching this game lol
Penn State's offense only showed up for the first half. Michigan's showed up for the second. GG Michigan - GO PSU!
Michigan played with heart, from a PSU fan. That missed holding call on that one drive was horrendous though. Officiating has been trash at all levels.
Thanks for not being so negative! I actually feel like Michigan - Penn State is becoming the best and most interesting rivalry in the Big Ten!
@@Nick-fz2oo we are all united in our hatred for Ohio State.
What a heartbreaker.....Don’t worry Michigan fans. No more heartbreaking losses on the horizon.
You’ll be back to losing by double digits the rest of the season.
What an atmosphere look forward to Auburn vs Penn state
Coach franklin needs to stop playing conservative 😂
Speed Media he is a bad coach. Instead of capitalizing on harbaughs stupid field goal choice he goes hold my beer harbaugh I’ll show u who the real dumbass is and proceeds to use terrible clock management even though he has 3 timeouts.
He's a buffoon! When has playing conservative *EVER* helped a team win? I'd really like to know that. He does this crap every year!

In my humble opinion: Michigan vs Penn State is a silent rivalry that only Michigan and Penn St. Fans understand.
Agreed
Jim harbaugh looking to see if coaches can enter the transfer portal
Sorry to say but Jim needs to transfer also. He has made us good again though. But we have the talent too not lose by 21 at Wisconsin or be down by 21 at Penn State. The team is prepared by the coaching staff and the head coach is in charge. Go Blue!
LOL!!
@@debrawillard3034 it's funny but one day we will be great again.
Patterson still just dinks and dunks, he does not throw down the field. Penn State did.
You knew when "Big Game Jim" called timeout before the FIRST play, it was gonna be ugly.
If Michigan didn’t start so poor they would’ve won
that goes for like everyone😂😂
Me too I agree with you and your comments too
NittanyYankeePride CC I worded it wrong I’m just saying if Michigan wasn’t fazed by the Penn State crowd early on they would’ve won cause they clearly were the better team in that game
NittanyYankeePride CC Michigan had way more yards and figured out Penn State fast and if it weren’t for some simple mistakes they would’ve won and I’m not a Michigan fan I’m the exact opposite being an Ohio State fan
Michigan needs a new sewing machine for those names on their jerseys. Literally every player had theirs peeling off. Lol
B C lol their jersey is dysfunctional just like their play
LOL!!!!
I feel so bad for Ronnie Bell and I was rooting for the other team. You hate to see people put their heart into something and have things go wrong.
Crazy game 🎉😮
Harbaugh should just use the one kicker for bombs and the other for the accuracy. Figure out his distance and there you go. Not that hard to know your players capabilities
Brent Pry got out played in the second half and once again terrible playcalling from Rahne and the refs weren’t giving us any help for the second straight week, but a win is a win. Props to Michigan for a hard fought game tho.
Michigan is the Kirk Cousins of college football
LoL
one of the best Qb?
Michigan did kinda choke but they couldn’t catch the ball with Penn defenders draped all over them and pulling on their jerseys. Very poor officiating. Call anything on Michigan and let Penn play how they want. Pitiful. Suspend the whistle clowns
My aunt is pro Michigan State and Ohio State and very anti-Michigan. She loved this game!
If she supports schools that let coaches molest little girls and men and try to cover it up, then she sounds like a real pos
00:33 that was one hell of a spot!
I guess we’ll have a chance next year to win the 10 for once. Hopefully Jim won’t be 1-12 at the end of season.
No chance next year either. OSU still has Olave, Fields, and possibly Dobbins if he stays and a bunch of their defense is still there.
Penn State played sloppy in the 2nd half, especially the defense. Too many missed tackles. Need to clean those up before playing a tough opponent.
I love big ten football
As an Ohio state fan, this game showed me coach franklin is not an elite coach and he is the reason they almost let this game slip, and Harbaugh’s TTUN has never had a roster complete enough to compete with the best teams in the nation.
Btw JT wasn’t short
Franklin's secondary looks slow, and they couldn't tackle in the 2nd half. PSU always gives up points late. Buckeyes beat them TWICE like that.
ripp846 yep, always seem to let off the gas pedal in the 2nd half. Definitely has costed them some big games
I wish psu had home field against ohio state. It's kinda annoying we have osu, msu, iowa, all away but we only have Michigan home.
TW Playz Agreed, but it’s only because we played all of those teams at home last year.
@@ben4906y Ik
And Minnesota away, which actually may be tricky this year.
Adam Jung Definitely tricky. The only thing with them is they have played literally nobody. They almost lost every non conference game against some pretty bad teams and so far in the big ten it’s been the bottom teams that they’ve beaten. We shall see
I think the "(Reggie) Bush Push" is bad for CFB. I just don't think you should be able to push a guy into the end zone. Thoughts?
Ken Machek
Reggie Bush is a legend far a reason
I disagree, So a defense can gang tackle a runner but the offense can’t do nothing but just watch their teammate get tackled?? That’s dumb logic to me always has been. The offense should be able to help or get rid of gang tackling and make it fair. Now that just sounds idiotic doesn’t it.
Dirty ass game for PSU... we almost choked BIG TIME. But I guess a W is a W :)
To be fair penn states QB looked like Tom Brady in the first half
@L3- -37 or maybe throwing dimes and leading his team to victory with 4 total tds he has much to improve on though hes a soph and 1st year starter. Btw I'm not a Brady or Pat fan.
at 7:02 that michigan defender #14 just gave up
Have to give props to the penn state fans as a Buckeye fan..
