This is ADHD music... a power trio with intensity turned up to 11. Juko is a really good arranger and does a good job of balancing the music between the instruments, so all three of them play lead (at the same time...). Always nice when someone appreciates Sokoninaru :) Honestly everything they do is good to awesome, they're just at that level of musicianship. At 40 years of age I don't qualify as an iPad kid, but I'll let you in on a little secret, progressive music has been a thing for a long time. From Edgar Winter to Cream, Colosseum's "The Valentyne Suite" (20 minutes long, buckle up) or Rush's 2112 there's a lot if you know where to look. That said I do love it, it's nice that not everything is 3-minute long radio-pop and Sokoninaru are admittedly among the best. I do recommend "Zettaiteki Sanpunkan", "Lament Moment" and of course "Saitei" for their original material. But just in case there are anime fans among your viewers (or even yourself) they did amazing covers of the Openings of One Piece ( "We Are" th-cam.com/video/dOpWZ9W71ZM/w-d-xo.html ) and Neon Genesis Evangelion ( "Cruel Angel's Thesis" th-cam.com/video/3l81dJOLyFE/w-d-xo.html ) among others.
Lament moment is fun as is the one where the drummer has the woodblock hit in isolation that I can't remember the name of but someone who reads this will know. Although they are nothing like this if you are looking for different why not go underground Japan with some 88Kayso Junrei th-cam.com/video/c7apuNjIRe0/w-d-xo.html or Midori th-cam.com/video/AlAf3YVMlag/w-d-xo.html , neither of which you'll probably like but they are different.
