I was addicted to Dark Shadows, but I also liked Star Trek, Red Skelton, Mannix, Hawaii-5-0, Julia, Bonanza, Wagon Train, Twilight zone, laugh-in, Longstreet, The Saint, It Takes a Thief, Dragnet, Adam-12, The Monkeys, Sonny & Cher.
I had a class of special ed kids in 5th grade and I had them write letters to Richard Dean Anderson. We took a class picture and I wrote a letter about how I used an episode to teach them how to search for "lasers" in the card catalogue. A couple of weeks later, each kid received an autographed picture signed/ addressed to each one personally....And I got one, too, which was inscribed..."Gloria...keep up the good work!"...I still have it!! One of the parents was in disbelief and called me to ask if it was true and was so happy that it was because her boy really needed the reassurance...
Loved the 80's and the shows brilliant decade I miss it. I loved Dallas, magnum PI and knight rider, Quincy, Hart to Hart, Chips and many more, great seeing this video, and these great actors now to then, sad some are not with us anymore, I wish we had these times again 🇬🇧 😔.
Always remember most of these actors and their shows, especially Robert Urich, Tom Selleck, Paul Michael Glaser, Richard Chamberlain, and so on. Favorite shows were WKRP in Cincinnati, Magnum, MacGuyver, Starsky and Hutch, Vegas, Thorn Birds.
I bought a VCR shortly after they came out solely to record Starsky And Hutch. They were hugely expensive and so, so heavy. Paul Michael Glaser was my #1 heartthrob of the 70s. Also crazy mad in love with Richard Chamberlain, my #1 heartthrob of the 60s. In the 90s, my heart and soul belonged to David Duchovny.
Something to add for Robert Urich on a 70s clip.....he starred in the TV series Vegas in 70s. He did a lot of episodes. Thank you for pulling all this together. ❤❤❤❤
Very sad about Ulrich, they did not want to schedule another season , mostly because he was dealing with cancer , but he made them an offer to insure himself that year, limit their liability I guess, so they did and, bless him, the cancer did get worse and he died before the end of that season😢😢😢. Could be why some actors (the man from Black Panther for 1), keep on the Q T about major health issues.😢
John Forsyth also played the starring role in Bachelor's Father and did the voice of Charlie in Charlies Angels. Richard Dean Anderson also played a Dr on General Hospital in the 1980's.
Left out these actors: Johnny Depp (21 jump street), Scott Baio (Charles in Charge), Bruce Boxleitner (Scarecrow and Mrs. King), Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap), John Ritter ( Three company), Don Johnson ( Miami Vice), Gary Sandy ( WKRP), Gil Gerard (Buck Rogers) and Stephen Collins (Tales of the Gold Monkey)
I forgot about Scarecrow and Mrs. King! I loved Bruce from the Babylon 5 series too! And man did I have a crush on Dr Sam Beckett!! Smart, sexy and sweet and honorable. They could not have chosen a better guy that Scott to play that part. I was sad he couldn’t come back for a spot on the new series. It was sad Dean Stockwell passed away right before it came out. It would have been neat to see Al give the command codes and keys to Magic to take over the search for Sam.
@@FlowerGemsGirl I’m with you! I didn’t realize that Bruce was the same actor on Scarecrow and Mrs. King. I kept telling my husband that I know his face for the life of me. I love B5 so much that I wanted to name my son John. Sad that Stockwell was not able to see the remake. He will be missed! That would have been a great scene to see if he was alive.
I was a huge fan of Remington Steele & MacGyver I'm also a huge scify fan, Star Trek, Stargate SG1, Babylon 5 and Lois & Clark. Also Hercules, Scarecrow & Mrs. King.
I'm 75 and have been a widow 2 years. My friend keeps telling me I need a man in my life and I'm quite sure I don't and told her l don't find me in their 70's attractive. After looking at this I'm more convinced than ever
George Peppard, John Hillerman, Angela Lansbury are still my favorites from the 80's. The A-Team, Knight Rider, Murder, she wrote, Magnum... The series from 80's were great. By the way: Pierce Brosnan is still handsome.
He WAS the cat’s pajamas. That was another of my favorites too. I watched it right after The Fall Guy with Lee Majors. I think they did a crossover one time.
It's just called Netflix now. The difference is more, your neighbors don't watch the same show at the same time as you, so you can't talk to them any more about it.
Out of those shows, I loved Trapper John MD. I named my son Gregory after him.♥ It would be good to see one on all of the doctor shows..Dr. Kildare, Ben Casey. I loved those ! This was a good video👍
The Dukes of Hazzard is a great 1 hour show mostly comedy mixed with some drama. The only way I could catch every episode was to collect DVDs and I bought them when Walmart reduced the prices.
My favorite star is Richard Dean Anderson aka MacGyver I would like to see Derek Benedict aka Face from The A-Team and Starbuck in Battle Star Galactica p
My fave was Emergency! And Adam-12, I was also a fan of Starsky & Hutch, and Perry Mason (b&w and color movies). Hawaii Five-O, hate the new one but loved the old one. Murder She Wrote, was my mom’s favorite. Quincy (I currently watch on FETV), Barney Miller kinda for the comic factor.
Bruce Boxlietner was and still is my favorite. I watch all the episodes (4 seasons) of Scarecrow and Mrs. King often. There is a little something to love about each episode for everyone to enjoy. He still looks good now too. I would love a new show to pick up where they left off. (Something for some of us a little older people to enjoy.)
Great video! I'm curious, will you be covering any of the female TV stars from the 1980s in future installments? I'd love to see a similar retrospective on them!
In the future these well prepared records will be like an album for us. Revisiting our great friends, and our own great memories, like a family picture album. Thanks for your efforts on our behalf. Brilliant 💎
The very best of the best, & would say Richard Dean Anderson is the most handsome hunk back in the 80's & then later in the Stargate series!! Hooray for Richard Dean Anderson!! Cheers!! 🥰🥰🦅🦅🦅🦅
I love Stargate SG1. I have the first 5 seasons on DVD and some of season 6. then all from season 7 to 9 and 2 dvd's from season 10. I also have the original film of stargate as well. The only season that I bought as a box season was season 1. Most of the others | bought on trips to various HMV stores not for the normal prices. I like all 4 people in Stargate SG1. Jack O'Neill-RDA, Daniel Jackson - Michael Shanks, Sam carter - (cant remember her name) and Teal'c - The unforgetable Christopher Judge. All are fine actors
Thanks for the memories. I don't think they make TV shows like this any more. Now it's all about reality - I still want to see made up stuff - which is why I have switched to BBC murder mysteries. BUT, Tom Selleck did get me through my divorce in the 90's (thankyou sir)
I really like this program it’s sharp easy and done right I have subscribe thank you for putting these famous people together and bringing them to us .

Robert Wagner! So cool!
I loved Quincy, that was my absolute favorite ❤️
You can still watch most of those shows on UK TV. Right now my mornings include Magnum PI then Kojak 😁
Larry Hagman was also in a T.V. series called I Dream Of Jeannie with Barbara Edna from q1965-71.
Sharen
I.D.O.J. ended in 1970. Not 71.
Barbara EDEN is her correct name.
Tom Selleck is my all time favorite.I watch bBlue Nloods all the time .I never get tired of them
Tom Selleck, and Pierce Brosnan look fabulous.
Agree, and I’d add Ted Danson as well
Yes, isn’t it amazing how good some of the men look, and how absolutely hideous some look as well?
I’ll add Lorenzo Lamas to the list of the Men who looks good for their age, some of them I wouldn’t want to see in the dark.
omg. Yessss!
Oh, yeah they are still hunks.
All of these shows and actors are amazing!
I met John Schneider about 4-5 years ago, and he was such a sweet gentleman. I feel so bad for him, that his wife passed away.
My ever most loved TV series is The Little House On The Prairie. I love it as a mature adult, too.

Richard Dean Anderson will always have a little piece of my heart
God he was HOT!
I Would Have Like To Seen Larry Wilcox!! He Was One Of My Favorite Actors.
RDA. Gorgeous as MacGyver! Still gorgeous, with that sweet smile.
Enjoyed this video. I wish that we had shows like that now. I liked Richard Dean Anderson.
Where have the years gone ? Jan Michael Vincent so sad 😱😩❤️🇬🇧
Yes, so sad.
Mr. Vinceny was a train wreck at the end. Alcohol & drugs will do that to a person.
Jan Michael Vincent was 🔥🔥🔥
John Forsyth also played the starring role in Bachelor's Father and did the voice of Charlie in Charlies Angels. Richard Dean Anderson also played a Dr on General Hospital in the 1980's.
He also was in Stargate SG1 on TV
Dr. Jeff Webber
It’s so hard to believe these guys are in their 70’s and 80’s!
Some of these actors, aged extremely well, and some did not

Bruce Boxleitner also played Luke Macahan in the TV series "How the West Was Won"
Also James Brolin, Pensacola Gold and Face from The A-Team, can't remember his real name now😅

I used to be in puppy love with Jameson Parker on Simon and Simon. I thought he was the cat's pajamas when I was 9 years old. 😊
So did I! I wonder what happened to him.
He WAS the cat’s pajamas. That was another of my favorites too. I watched it right after The Fall Guy with Lee Majors. I think they did a crossover one time.
He got into a dispute with his neighbor and was shot. He survived, and wrote a book about his life afterwards.@@Sammy.goNavy70
"Simon and Simon!" was such a great show that I totally forgot about!
Gerald McRaney and Jameson Parker were really awesome together! 💗👍

I worked at the local telephone exchange in Albury, NSW. When I finished at 11 pm I would unwind by watching Dr Kildare, Colour TV had just started.
The Detective Series Simon&Simon aired from 1981-1989 and for 4 Seasons or more Tim Reid played Lieutenant Downtown Brown.
Great show as usual for the 70’s 80’s!
