(It's also worth noting that for about half an hour after leaving Goat-Mom's house, I was feeling considerably apathetic in-between the Bone Bros' shenanigans.)
Seiso Sheep really connected to the story and her honest tears only added to the impact of so many of the scenes.
People are allowed not to take the G-Route. Not everyone is curious enough, nor can everyone's conscience take killing without feeling guilt and denying that there are consequences simply for "the complete experience".
I was about to do it in the end, but when I thought about papyrus... In the end I decided I'd rather believe they are having a better life in the true pacifist ending, even if it's fiction
@@mister_raindr0p that's the thing about the game; it tells you that "You can't do what you want (particuparly evil deeds) just because it's fiction". In the Final Hall if you kill only one monster on purpose to see Sans's reaction, Sans will say he is disgusted at you. Point is we shouldn't do immoral actions in fiction regardless of consequence just because we want to sate our curiosity (or bloodlust, or enjoyment, even).
Still, it is equally true that people who want to take the G-Route are allowed to, but I hope they do absorb at least a good portion of the game's messages.
@@stedeestelle2866 People aren't. And if she ever does, then it's her decision. I don't want forcing her, nor do I want people to ostracize her from doing it, if she ever decides to.
Fiction is still fiction. People shouldn't judge people how they want to play their game.
@@jack-exzolt9858 people are allowed to do whatever they want, but their collective actions are a reflection of the depth of their character, at least that is what I believe. And as far as judging goes, I honestly think people are allowed to judge whatever they want, in the same light that people can do what they want in the game because it is fiction. Just probably bear in mind that actions have consequences in real life.
It's all complicated, but in the end it really depends on what you believe and your own narrative. For me, people are allowed to do what they want, and equally have the right to not do what they don't want. But they have to be aware that consequences do exist in real life.
@@stedeestelle2866 >but their collective actions are a reflection of the depth of their character, at least that is what I believe.
And THIS mindset is why Undertale fandom is so toxic. People are so quick to judge over petty things like video games. And is one of the many reasons why Subaru has taken down her playthrough is how she got flak for completing a game in G-Route.
Marine and Kanata simply played it for story and challenge. Suisei too for the latter. It doesn't make them less any more of an undesirable person. Video games is video games, you shouldn't delude yourself into thinking these girls are closer to real-life psychopaths.
If you don't like it, then sucks for you. No matter what reasoning in fiction rooted in real life, it's still fiction. Whether G-Route had an impact on them, positive, negative or just simply nothing at all then all that matters is that respect whatever it is. If Watame goes G-Route and you throw a hissy fit, then just play the game yourself instead of subjecting yourself being bothered by other people's playthroughs.
_"That promise I made to her... You know what would have happened if she hadn't said anything?"_

*Sans kept his promise... It was very touching and sweet...*
*_But if it were on the genocide route..._*
*d o y o u w a n n a h a v e a b a d t i m e ?*
He does say he doesn't like to make promises before the fight though
@@zetahearts422 He also held back on fighting you until the very end when he had no other choice.
@@zetahearts422 Actually, he said this is why he doesn't make promises.
Because he knew Genocide was a possibility, and that possibility alone was worth killing Frisk to prevent. But, because of his promise, he couldn't bring himself to do it, even if you kill everyone else and leave the underworld to die in the dark. It's only when you go so far you become a threat to the entire world itself that Sans will step in.
It goes even deeper when you realize the only reason he makes bad jokes and does his best to entertain Frisk is to try to make them too attached to do Genocide.
Watame really really soft inside and outside
So I can't blame her when she cried after doing that
It indeed is Raining Somewhere Else.
On, my first playthrough, I killed Toriel by mistake, and it made me sad, but when that scene happened, it made me feel so sad, I cried from the regret of killing her
TH-cam recommends this to me as we enter a new Hololive Undertale arc. Oh comfy sheep you are so precious
"you haven't died once"
Player who constantly dies: And I took that personally
sans: "You be dead on where you stand"
Those damn no-hit speedrunners: "you bet"
Watame crying reminds me of that animated version of this scene (in the game) were Frisk cries after what sans says to him
And everyone worries why sans made a kid cry, sans is like “oh shit” 🤣
Damn, she picked that up much faster than I did, as well as Sans general ability to be one step ahead of you.
We Love Watame!
Sans: you know what would happened if she hadnt said anything?
Frisk: -_-
Sans: ... buddy... you would be dead where you stand.
Frisk: -_-
Sans: don't make that face...
Watame is too precious for this world, but im glad shes in it. A part of me loves it when she cries, not because i like seeing her sad, but because when you know why shes crying, cause she has such a good heart.....its very heart warming. You dont get to see it often in your day to day life.
Out of all v tubers I've seen Watame has made me cried a lot be it good moments to bad, even so she has a pure heart
Fluffy-hearted sheep
Yeaaaaaah, i dont think genocider sheep is a good idea lol.
the power of a mother's intuition
Neutral route? If there ever was a true pacifist run it's Watame's.
Not only did she never kill, but she did absolutely no points of damage to anyone.
I love that sensibility of hers
Undertale: Exists
Watame: ;_;
she's such a crybaby T_T there there sweet sheeb it'll be okay, let it out it's fine, you're precious
Watame you sweetest wholesome angel 😭😭😭💖💞💕
4:40 haha don't make that face
The face in the wole game be like: -_-
so pure
Oh, do knock knock jokes not exist in japan? That's a cool bit of culture I did not know about.
Honestly there’s a lot of stuff about Japan that I don’t know about. Like of course Knock-Knock jokes not being a thing evident by the text in this cutscene, and so on. Really the only thing I’m aware about is the Pokémon stuff, and if I’m correct it’s where the Nintendo company is located
1:25 God, that felt bony
Im crying now, ty
Undertale is the cabal evidence that games don't need realistic graphics, just good ideas, stories and creative ways for the player to inmerse her/himself into the stort and develop bonds with the characters (the persona series (from 3 onwards) does this pretty good too)
Please for the love of God, dont make here do the other rotate of this game.
She never will. It's her choice and everyone support it
I don't wanna see her playing genocide, that makes me cry as well.. It's too hard for her, we need to protect her at all cost..
I love that Undertale knows where to hit you in the gut.
oh, didn't realize the conversations are different on other languages. I guess in japan there isn't the concept of knock knock jokes, huh.
I'm crying too , this is so sad
Meanwhile Flare:
Sans: You'd be dead where you stand.
Flare: Don't threaten me with a good time.
@@annanymousren Sans become Flare's side chick
Got my self almost bursting to tears and the only thing that saved me from doing so is from that ad which gave me a jumpscare, irritating the atmosphere
I remember crying after this part too TT
our sheep is a very kind gentle sheep, g route would be too much for her heart to handle
Sans: 4:30
Veteran playes who already know how karmic distribution works:NO U
amazed there is a person i never want to see do the genocide route
Sans: Haha, don't make that face
Frisk: 😑
Aaa I want to hug her
Watame has a good heart
So cool
Yeah i know undertale is game that can easily make people cry 😢
Watame: *cries*
Sans: “I’m aware of the effect I have on women”.
This scene always rubbed me the wrong way, if it happened in a neutral run I could understand that. But as far as I know it only happens in Pacifist. So gg Sans, you're not only threatening a literal child but a child who has so far been nothing but kind and helpful.
hmm, iirc it can happen in neutral as long as you dont kill papyrus
@@minhlenq312 alright, I just wish it ONLY happened in neutral because it just doesn't make sense for Sans to threaten a kid who's actively trying to help.
@@MysteriumArcanum for me it doesn't seem much of a threat. he's just spittin facts. he is aware of multiple timelines and that the timeline he's at, frisk MIGHT be evil, so killing you right when you step out of the door will end a lot of problems (+he also straight up says that he doesn't need to go back to the surface since he already has everything in the underground), and he lets you know that (so i dont think it's really a threat)
@@MysteriumArcanum that's a lot of whining from you, man
I can't imagine her playing the G-route. She'd be devastated to kill Sans and the others
What a sweet girl
AAAHHHHHH, MY HEEEAARRRT.......
woah, the dialogue is so different! I wonder what else didn't translate well and was largely changed for the japanese?
also, I wonder why "Heh." is translated in the normal "Haha." way?
I actually went searching in the discription because I wanted to see the joke
Knowing that Watame left her save with the true pacifist ending, knowing that it was a true happy ending... Now I really feel a lot worse for doing genocide :(
so, knock-knock jokes are not a thing in japanese?
yeah sadly it isnt, I think all of the jokes in the game are different to the english version
Well you can't really translate jokes into other languages
@@rinyakusa_hosen it depends on the joke and the languages in question, but yeah in general it's super hard for jokes to translate smoothly to another language
@@Gensolinkye try to translate joe mama to japanese lol
@@yesstephen1854 Or try to translate Chuck Norris memes and try to explain that's irony, probably a Japanese could think that meme is serious
I bless Coco for giving context to western memesin her shitpost reviews, because probably the other members could not understand our sense of humor (I can think about Yagoo jokes, some holomembers really thought that everything was serious)
Oh the poor thing :(
Ahhh the "OIRA" sans
Awwww poor Watame D;
The way she says papyrus omg
When sans is like normal he uses comic sans at the dialog box whe he is serious he uses serif sans
For a moment I thought she was translating from english in real time
welp guess im crying today
goat mom best mom.
Watame is so pure of heart, the pacifist route definitely it was going to be her choice
But surprises me that Pekora also ended up doing a pacifist route, and even tho she threatened with doing g-route, she never did it, so for now that makes her look like the classic villain that is "evil" but at the end cant be truly evil and just pretends to be.
So in short, the Holomems are so precious, sweet comedians
