Your channel is the only one that I have set to get all notifications because I want to watch it right away. For Marques I can wait a day or 2. But the Mike Cole is essential must-see TV.
Coming across your video on the Chroma Console was a treat. I've not used any of Hologram's effects, but judging by this and a couple of other videos of their units I would love to explore them given the chance. After 40+ years of buying and trying different effects pedals and units, many of the ones that I end up keeping are those which push me out of my comfort zone. From ring modulators to reverse delays.... anything that makes me feel like I have to change the way I play, usually gives me satisfying results. Not 100% of the time but at least when I feel the need for change. Great video! Thanks.
I had the Strymon Deco for a few years and loved it. It was always my go-to if I needed to grab just one pedal. I just got the Chroma Console, and it has definitely taken up that place for me. This is NOT a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none. Every effect on the CC is simple yet extremely usable. I don't think I've ever experienced a more intuitive user interface on another pedal either.
Glad you got into Radiohead. They truly were/are innovators. Nice pedal, too .... love the LED menu color layout. Needs MIDI. But fun for experimental and original sounds.
Dig where you're coming from - ANY piece of gear that can INSPIRE us to play differently, uniquely and creatively is simply a wonderful thing. It's like the opening of the Wizard of Oz, in which an everyday, dreary, black and white world of monochromes suddenly transforms into one of amazing colors, vibrance and strange possibilities. Much of the greatest music ever recorded broke new ground that went beyond things typically expected.
I've never seen a video showing how to get the best tones using a Les Paul with a Fender Twin Reverb. It's always Fender with Fender or Gibson with Marshall or Vox. What happens when the oomph meets the smooth? The hums are bucked and the amp is full, there a world of unique sounds you can get this way that you can't with other combinations.
Exzellent Pedal. Love since it arrived within 1 week to the Canary Islands. That was a miracle... normally it takes up to 3 weeks.... Thanks a lot for your excellent video. Many regards from me Chris...and from my channel: Chris Bunch of flowers music
Regarding sounds if you were in a three-piece band and the only guitarist. What pedal would you use to give yourself a fuller sound and then what pedal would you switch to for any leads/solos
Run your guitar through 2 amps for a fuller sound! Pedals are absolutely preference based, hit Guitar Center and play through everything and see what you specifically like.

Your enthusiasm has me jazzed. Mine came in the mail today. Getting cables tomorrow and finally letting it loose.

Hologram makes some of the most innovative pedals. Great content and love the new style/setup you're doing!
I love how excited and creative you get when something new busts out. This is cool.
The blue guitar portion was very 2019-era Men I Trust. Love that sound.
Ha! Just found them, and as soon as I heard it I was like....sounds like Billie toppy

Really clear and great overlook for a music pod cast! Grand job!
We use this pedal in the band I’m in and it is SUCH a powerful pedal! I want to get one like it for myself!
You looked very inspired by this pedal! Loved seeing your reaction. I hope I get to play one soon too.
Great job Mike! Great ideas

Got it when it came out. For my microfreak to make it shine. But it’s most fun on my ct with the beats.. also I think it shines best for guitar
Excellent video n love the Chroma Console!! ❤ ❤
Yessssss. I love this thing 💪🏼

4:20 Bro, why were you IN a wheelbarrow?? 😂♥
(I know, I know, but that was funny! 🤷♂😄)
The new look goes hard
@6:08 is where the the party really begins, it's like a page out Alice Phoebe Lou's playbook
This pedal is featured all over Kings of Leon’s latest album
Love it 🎸
Great vid!

Now get a microcosm

Is it fairly easy to change presets live on the go without having a separate midi switcher or not really?
the pedal you needed
Not so much of a gig pedal but I guess good for studio but other pedals do much better in each individual setting…. Hx stomp would do better maybe

How is this different than any other mult-pedal type thing?
Have you gotten into Lofi Hymnal on spotify?
Still Worship's stuff is really good too.
I think you meant out of my wheelhouse, not wheelbarrow lol, but maybe that's a new saying.
Did you place the Chroma before or after the Dream '65?
What song was that at 2:10 ?
meet me at our spot
@@dontfeedthemilkshake thank you!
The first thing I thought when I got this pedal was Radiohead 😂
the les paul link in the description is broken btw
or taken off sweetwater at least
You went too quick, I had to listen again....Se7en lol ....Thanks Mike
please fix your levels!!! I love the vids but everything is so quiet!!
Idk man it’s not quiet at all for me.
Stank face be stankin
I think I'm too lazy to be trusted with this pedal.
I don't see/hear anything out of the ordinary. Congrats, you got yourself a multi-effect pedal.

yet another new gimmick
One of the most stupid pedals as per Uncle Larry. Well I guess it's a matter of personal choice.
