    the real issue here is jacket buttons, Will jacket buttons run on garment while gameplay runtime at an optimal performance on a low poly garment?

    so im trying to import a alembic with udims into unreal cause i need to texture a piece of the garment with a custom shader, is there anyway to do that

    there are visible glitches in underarms and front panels of the jacket. I understand that this is a huge leap for the games, but how are people using this in production? films etc? can we bump up the settings or are they simply using Marvelous Designer animation for now?

      Agree, our simulation is limited in handling of self-collisions. Also, handling avatar-cloth collisions is rather tricky when cloth is jammed between body parts that crossing each other like underarms.
      Sometimes it can be handled by using specific tricks like binding.

    i know this is a pretty basic question, but you dont actually show the process of saving the Marvelous project... or what file type you are importing when pressing import MD. i understand this sounds dumb, but i have a marvelous project saved as a zprj file... i have it in a standalone folder, when i press import MD file and point it to the folder, it simply tells me 'Unable to export to a folder with unrecognized content. Please clean this folder content manually.'.... so this makes no sense to me.. or am i suppose to be saving the marvelous Designer project as something else, i.e as a garment...obj...fbx...garment with Matadata? you literally skip right over that aspect, clearly its obvious but i don't see the answer. in fact when i press the import MD button it asks for a Folder, and skips the whole part where you create a file name with obj extension.

      Simply create/specify a new clean folder. We're trying to automate the export process from MD with a couple of temp OBJ files and metadata. Then we import the data and save in our own format in your designated folder. The folder gets wiped clean. If that folder contains files that we don't recognize, we want you to clean it manually or create a new clean folder so we won't delete your files that you may have there.

    Is it possible to load in a custom mesh .FBX (let's say built in maya, UV laid out) and add custom colliders?

      You can import OBJ files but if you want to use simulation, they should be prepared the same way as when exported from Marvelous. Thin, Weld, Single, and all other requirements.
      You also need to check Skip validation when importing. See udraper.com/blogs/tutorials/using-clothes-from-marvelous-designer

    The moment I press the simulation, the clothes get smaller and stick to my body. How can I solve this problem?

    Just an little question: to unreal 5 that has nanite, do you know if is there a problem import without retopology? I refer for the marvelous cloths, but i personally think characters with low poly wont need... even so im curious about this too. Thank you very much, your tutorials are helping me alot🎉🎉😊

      I don't think Nanite affect collisions between the cloth and the character mesh in this case

    I can't see, find or load any Draper Editor , do you know why?

      Are you trying to edit materials in your character's Blueprint? Edit button is not available in blueprints. You should be able to find it in a level. See e.g. #3 here udraper.com/blogs/tutorials/import-clothes-in-unreal-editor

      @@triMirrorTV yes, not it works. My error was to search the tab as a window tab like "details ecc", only in some tutorials of yours the teacher show how open that tab.

    Error occurred: mesh topology is too complex. I get this message everytime when import to UE5 , I've tried to increas the particle distance but no helps

      It doesn't currently have self-collisions yet as outlined in limitations udraper.com/blogs/tutorials/installation-and-activation.
      It is possible to use layers till certain extent as shown in this video.
