It was another great show from Rollins and this was a touching tribute I thought, as was his speaking about Lemmy. Thanks for the recording.

i admit I wasnt always a Bowie fan. I realized after he died though, he did a LOT of music that I grew up liking, i realed this right before he died, then, well, he passed, and this man, this inspiring musician who I never realized made some of my favorite songs has had an influence on me I didnt initially realize.

can't tell you how much I relate to what you say. I never listened to him until recently. Always thought somebody that looked that weird, was weird. But he wasn't, not at all. Very gifted and a performer. I learned more about him watching interviews, and he was one intelligent, gifted man. He won my heart when he married Iman and had Lexus. What a doting dad! Did you listen to "My Death"? He was interviewed after the performance...he expressed himself so movingly. During the performance, he thought of the daughter he'd have to leave behind when he left thi s life. The man had deeper feelings about family than I ever could've imagined. I feel his death left me feeling sad more than all my family who've passed. I felt guilty until I read other people feel the same way. I never saw Bowie, never listened to his music. I was a country & western fan for heaven's sake. Thank for writing.

Internet's leaving a lot of amazing stories of Bowie bonhomie since his passing...and this is another of them. Well worth the nine-minute investment of one's time.
    Thanks for the upload!

I love when people I admire talk about losing their shit over the people they admire! LOL. I so totally get that sense of surrealism in the moment. You almost feel like you are leaving your body and watching it all happen. Nice to know guys like Henry go through it, too. One of my favourite pictures is of Simon Le Bon and John Taylor backstage @ Fashion Rocks in 2005 with David Bowie and they look positively GIDDY like WE Duranies do when we meet THEM! LOL. And they had met him several times before. Yeah, no matter what, David Bowie had that affect on people. Just everyone.

    Bowie was Unique.
    There are no more Bowies
    There are no more Zappas
.. Music is in need of someone different and unique for the music, not the look, the video and the stage show.
