    You the man. No one better than low heat beats with the g funk.

    As someone who recently got back into Maschine after having owned the mk1 back in the day, your video’s are extremely helpful. The fact that we same to have similar musical tastes is a nice bonus 😊
    I like this modern take on Gfunk.
    I could definitely hear the late Nate Dog sharing his beautiful voice over this beat 😊

    I like that beat I grew up on the west coast during the G Funk era and I still have trouble making G Funk beats 😂

    • @LowHeatBeats
      @LowHeatBeats  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad you're feelin' the beat! The way I see it, drum pattern and bass line are key for that G Funk feel before even adding that gliding lead.

      @@LowHeatBeats also when you're playing the grande piano at 8:00, is that a one shot? how do you play the one shot melodically without it changing speed?

    • @LowHeatBeats
      @LowHeatBeats  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Julian-uv2rs It's a multisampled piano instrument from the Maschine library, so it doesn't just use one sample, pitched up and down the keyboard. I guess even if it does change speed a bit, the changes are so minor that you don't hear it.

    I like this style of tip video, and thanks for pointing out some cool sounds/presets that are buried in that sea of expansions I own lol. The last part of the progression made me think of Sensual Seduction by Snoop 😛

    Great video. Could you please do a video on how to get third party instruments such as serum etc to show up in maschine?

    • @LowHeatBeats
      @LowHeatBeats  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I will consider it. But if it's an NKS compatible instrument it automatically shows up in Maschine's browser with presets, previews and macro controls. In the case of Serum, it's not NKS compatible, so you will need to use it as a regular plugin form the plugins menu and it will not be integrated with the browser.

    How do you connect S49 to Maschine mk3 then to computer?

      They are both controllers, so just connect both of them to your computer via USB like any other controller.

      @@LowHeatBeats Any chance you could put out a Maschine Project File for sale on your website using NKS Instruments only? Probably a lot of people would be interested in buying that. Myself included.

    • @LowHeatBeats
      @LowHeatBeats  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dinomorphosis That's a great idea! I don't finish or arrange the tracks in Maschine though, I usually create a couple of scenes and export them to Ableton. But for this purpose I can probably do it all in Maschine.

    • @dinomorphosis
      @dinomorphosis 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LowHeatBeats Oh man, that would make for a dope video then! Seeing you finish a track in Maschine. Probably the biggest challenge in finishing a track in Maschine is with Automation and Transitions. It's just not as smooth of an experience. I too almost always finish my tunes in Ableton.
