  • Sometimes meeting other makers is really inspirational. That was certainly the case when I visited 3d Printers Online to meet a range of staff and customers to learn about how they use 3D printing for pleasure and profit. Please enjoy meeting these fantastic makers from the Sydney region.
3DPO is my resin sponsor, but this video was completely my idea. They organised makers at my request for me to interview and I retained full creative control of the video. teachingtechyt.github.io/spon...
Apologies for some of the choppy audio in this video. My equipment on location is different to at home and the mic was playing up. I edited to minimise the impact as much as possible.

Thanks so much for taking the time to chat with us! We had such a great time meeting all the other incredible creatives who were there. Huge shoutout to 3DPO for hosting and giving us this opportunity! 🤩

Very envious. I ran my own business in Melbourne. Had 14 printers working 24/7. I wanted to go legit but insane tax, business setup costs, insurances and potential cost of an employee made it impossible... so I decided to move to Thailand and start again. It's taken me 2 years but slowing breaking into a market & making headway. Good luck to all like us.

Wow. How lucky was I to buy my first printer a few days ago on line from 3dpo. I picked up from store and found a slight problem with one of the wheels. Rang next day and spoke with Eric. He is a legend. Not only did he replace the when I brought my unassembled printer back, he also kindly carried it back to the car for me. Such a polite and friendly young man.

Can't believe my local 3D printer store made it on Teaching Tech! 3DPO have always been super helpful and happy to chat when I pop in to pick up my orders, and I look forward to seeing them expand and teach more people about the power of DIY 3D modelling and printing!

The end showcases the biggest smile I'd ever seen on this guy. I'm just getting into 3d printing and the potential is just mind boggling. You're awesome dude and you deserve to stand next to those amazing individuals. 🤙🏾

Great to actually see Shaun at 3DPO. I purchased all but 1 printer from Shaun (starting when he was Click Depot) - great guy and great service.

A very diverse group. Literally all over the place and really showcasing the possibilities of 3D printing.
I found out about 3D printing over 30 years ago.
But just literally in the past few days have acquired a 3D printer and supplies.
Actually most of the supplies arrived today.
I have yet to open the boxes!!

Thank you.. When I jumped into this technology I had the same question I do now. What exactly am I going to print. Well, once I get my machines all calibrated, perhaps I will get onto a hub and print for customers.

Recently bought a ender 3 s1 pro and filaments from 3dpo store, specifically as they can provide after sales support and are accessible to take a printer back should there be a problem compared with overseas companies.

Very nice of you to put together what companies are doing,
personally i would of preferred to see mechanical parts being made and used.,
like gears and cogs and engine parts. basically moving parts that require strength extra.
