How awesome that Ollie knows the word dolphin! When I lived in NC my Dad had a boat on the ICW in Wrightsville Beach NC. He had a good friend that had a dog that always went deep sea fishing with them. The dog would start watching a fishing rod and if he went to the rod you better get ready to start reeling in a fish. Dogs have a great ability to sense things we can't.
Great video…so funny how Ollie loves to see Dolphins and bark! “No-see-ums” are so annoying…we used to have those little buggers bother us all the time! I bet it was so nice to meet up with family…I’m sure your grandparents loved seeing you! Glad you were able to see the very cool rocket launch! Safe trawling!
Thanks so much Suzanne! We need to teach Ollie to help us attack the no-see-ums haha… It’s pretty nice because she sometimes will tell us about the Dolphins that we would have otherwise missed 😂
So proud of you guys. Drove from Jensen Beach FL to Anchorage AK in 1982. Stayed a year. Went to Europe couple years later. More people need to find a way to live their dreams. Think it’s easier now w remote working opportunities for people that have the drive to make it happen. Never give up the dream

Boating and "bugs", I don't think there is anywhere you can get away from them. In Alaska we had huge horse fly like flies which would follow the boat in swarms and they had big teeth. They would drive the dog crazy. Glad you had great time with grandparents, good food and space launch bonus. Take care and Aloha!🐋🐋🐋

Great Video. Rocket 🚀 Launches are really cool. I remember watching Shuttles take off from my back yard when I moved to Florida in the early 90's. But I was never as close as you were ... Stay Safe Guys ‼️
I'm from the Space Coast!!! So glad you stopped by and also I work for the City of Cocoa Beach! We plan to do our trip in a couple of years! If you have a chance our Marina opened up a nice restaurant called the Dolphin at Cape Crossing in Merritt Island not far from Cocoa Beach :-)
Great video :-) I'm an independent trucker and was in cape Canaveral the other day. There's pretty good surfing near cocoa beach. That's a really nice area. I really like your channel, you both are nice people and cute puppy
@@SchoandJo Surfing is so fun and pretty easy to learn. Especially if you can paddleboard or snowboard. There's a lake in Colorado that gets 5' waves on really windy days. I paddlesurf there in the summer with my paddleboard

Get a Thermacell or 2 for repelling biting insects they really work. Long time Florida cruisers based in Vero Beach, we shared the storm and the rocket launch with you at the same anchorage, currently in Sanford FL. MV Firefly.
No-see-ums, midges, knats whatever they are called are the worst, I was almost itching just watching the both of you scratch.. the you can get into chiggers on the beach they are bad too.lol. were they inside or just outside?, Looks like you had a good view of the launch. very cool.
Haha we have had so many bug bites on our legs its like polk-a-dots... We think with the rain storm the previous couple days, they hatched and were in full force - inside and outside the boat. Even our neighbors on Kedge said this was the worst they've seen and they were in Vero for a few months. Thanks for watching James!
