    I feel like people watch so much TH-cam instead of actual movies and they forget what real film looks like. They’re standard for what film looks like is just based on other emulations. So we just end up with a bunch of green tinted skies and weird color casts.

    • @notdarrengarcia
      @notdarrengarcia  หลายเดือนก่อน

      yeah i get what you mean. the green tint here is from me following Tom’s directions and exporting in Gamma2.4 when i corrected it by changing the gamma to rec709-A (not here on the Tube) it didn’t have those green shifts! i’m also a big proponent of watching actual movies to learn techniques, movement, grading, lighting, etc. so i’m with you there. i appreciate you stopping by!

    • @ShaneAndersonProductions
      @ShaneAndersonProductions หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@notdarrengarcia Hey thanks for not taking my criticism the wrong way. If you are looking for the most accurate emulation it’s a combination of FilmBox and the built in print film lut in Davinci. I do the quarterly payments for filmbox and it’s not too expensive. If you can get your hands on filmbox, I can send you a copy of the power grade I’m currently using.
