Im not enjoying the game at the moment, lots of campers, the visibility is shit, the netcode is shit, the defensive playstyle is shit. I get constantly frustrated when im the only one playing the fucking objective, when the enemy team is totally dominating and i cant do anything about it, not getting company coins and so on. This is a nightmare experience for me at the moment, not enjoying the game, dying a lot, not getting a lot of kills, and having constant headaches after playing, and also getting bored after playing 1 or 2 rounds. Im sticking to bf1 and bf4 until i try to clear my mind about this game.
alittlemonster hang in there, game will improve over time. I’m not great at this game either...I wasn’t too bad at bf1 and bf4, but this game will test your limits.
What really helps me is to adapt my pace according to the situation and not rush all the time. Without being campy, I think it's good to patrol an area and see how you can catch the enemies off guard. And when you have a slower pace, you pay more attention to gunshot sounds and footsteps. Visibility is really tough sometimes, and scanning each area that you are about to cross is really important too if you want to make the right move and not run into a bipoded mg42's line of sight. And finally, I usually close the distance when I play medic by using the smokes (you get up to 4 or 5 if you take the grenade launcher as well) to be effective with smgs and bail some tough situations and revive teammates of course. Yes, I flee very often when I just know I'm outnumbered or outgunned or just panicking. Anyway thanks for all the time and efforts you put in Machine. It really is worth it, though, for us viewers. Best wishes for 2019, and keep the positivity and legendary British phlegm that we French would so much like to have. Bye
Don't try to "make up" for a bad streak by sprinting all over the place trying to find kills and playing more and more aggressively. Usually just leads to a cycle of death.
Just now getting over a two day bad streak. Was doing really well, running a 3-4 kd with around 450-500 spm. Then boom logged in and went 0-5. Was like wtf. Two days I struggled to even get 1.5 kd and 300 spm. Thankfully I got my groove back a bit. Last match of tonight went really well defending aerodrome. 38-3, with a 560ish spm. Man those two days sucked.
MrPanacea999 just change server, sometimes you find that some servers have squads that are communicating against you. When I play there are usually 8 of us on one server, all communicating taking objectives. We are hard to play against, not because we are all great players, but we are organised and if we get shot, we call it out etc.
Ross Craddock oh I tried. It just seemed for two days I couldn’t control recoil at all, couldn’t focus, no matter where I went I was getting flanked. The recoil was the worst. I had been doing my Lewis assignments and doing really well. Next thing o know was like whoa I simply can’t land shots with the same gun I have been wrecking with for days. Then it translated to I couldn’t land shots with any guns. I was missing with a bipoded mg34 😳. No change in mice or sensitivity. I have no clue what happened.
Jason McDougall assignments with guns can ruin my gameplay.... spend a day using just one gun to get gold skins and then going back to my “try hard” set up takes a few hours to get back in to a rhythm..... I feel the pain.
yup seasoned veteran in a slump, i do know its hard going from bf1 to bf5, everything is so hard for me now especially that enemies are harder to spot and you can't tag enemies anymore like before in bf1.
Yes man i told you, not like before in battlefield 1, just 1 flare gun of a scout allies you can see everyone in a good spot, Despite bf1 is a very dark themed game, we can still see enemies more than this new game which is bf5 who is on the other hand a very colorful one.
Same yo. I used to not care about assignments and would fly through them. Cause I wanted to play and learn the maps. Now I focus on assignments and it's just frustrating. Need to switch playing mentality.
I played BF1942, 1943 and 2142 on PC a LOT. Got back with BF1 on PS4 - hated it as I am a PC player. Got BF5. Visibility was so bad (compared to my fond memories of BF1942, I decided to buy a new monitor. And - after seeing your vid on settings, change some more settings. Now I can see the players. That helped. Then I started to practice. Focussed on one class (support) and I am finally getting kills. I even improved on tactics (again, thanks to your vids) and switch primary weapon in between spawns if the map or game mode needs it (breakthrough attack does not need the MG34, the KE7 is much better, but defending, it is MG34 all the way). In the beginning, I struggled and got frustrated. Getting killed 10 times in a row without getting to fire a single shot does that to you. I am glad I kept playing. Now my goal is to get golden MG34 - even though I have the MG42 now. Then start another class - I here good things about medic :-) Vehicles are ok, planes are still a no-go for me. And I won't hog a plane as there will be much better pilots in the team. May have to try the practice range someday for this. My advice to new players: start playing. Stop playing if you are getting 2 frustrated and start watching BF5 videos (like TheBrokenMachine gameplay ones) It teaches you a lot just seeing others play. Then get back into the action. Practise some more. After a couple of gaming sessions like this, you WILL improve. I know I did.
Ya the games all have a learning curve. Once u get it though it's soo much fun. I have bad games sometimes, but I've improved soo much since day 1. I love the new game, and I've been playing bf games since bc1
I realize your main draw is putting up game clips where you absolutely dominate, but for tutorials like this one, which I would really like to see more of, commentary that matches video clips is really nice. Hearing you talk about using a pink/purple crosshair while the gameplay video has a yellow crosshair just made me think you're colorblind, lol. Suggestion for additional tutorial videos, tell us about your map knowledge. The biggest thing I notice about your game play versus my own (besides all your shots hitting people in the head obviously) is your movement. You seem to fly around the map ducking and weaving around corners and into little alleys based on enemy positions. I'm definitely pushing forward through a main entry way, and just slowly moving further in as we clear enemies. You could easily use your own gameplay videos and just add commentary as to what you were thinking/where you were trying to go. Keep up the great content!
Great comment but it seems like it would take so much more work than he likes to put in. He likes to let his phenomenal skill do the talking. But I would also love to see him do the type of videos you're suggesting as him describing his thought process throughout each play would be greatly beneficial to all of us lesser mortals.
Take chances once and a while, dont always try to be safe. 1. its only a game 2. sometimes your taking silly chances will actually do you well and the enemy wont expect it. (I drove a jeep full speed into the highly populated enemy zone and got 6 kills as they smashed into my vehicle)
Medic isn't "bad". It's just not as "powerful" as say assault is in assaulting. See what I did there? you're a medic. you're decent in CQB but you'll still lose to an assault who is on par with you in skill and has a better position. Best tools in a medics bag? Smoke. Smoke your allies into a point, follow them, don't go in first unless you're a god.
I appreciate the emphasis on not trying to hard and “take a step back”. For the many “tips” videos I’ve watched, two things I’ve noticed are not often addressed. 1) Explore the maps. Map familiarity is a major component of better gameplay. Knowing nooks, crannies and overlooks for superior position is so key. Even knowing the typical routes of movement can help your defensive gameplay and trap/choke point advantage. 2) when your team is obviously dominating; that is the perfect opportunity to explore, relax, and get familiar with those environments. Getting smoked every 10sec into a spawn is hardly conducive to looking around and understanding the massive dynamics of the environment. If you’re new to the game, you can tend to route to the nearest objective; often ignoring the subtle strategy of topography in play. Might be worth adding that this is also worth exploring when you get put in a “uninvolved” or passive squad. Anyways, thank you for the content. Cheers.
Good point about pushing. I've seen too many people try to push the opponent all the way back to base, when it's enough to just hold the majority and defend that central objective (which is usually easy to defend).
The last piece of advice about not getting frustrated and just being in the moment is super useful. I was playing very bad and getting swatted most games. But after realizing I just plain need to play more really helped and I'm having *alot* more fun, even if I don't play like a pro yet, I'm having a great time any way. Thanks for the video
What I consider to be the most helpful tips. Tip 1: Try to always have cover in engagements and always have an escape route if things get dicey. Tip 2: Learn to move effectively; i.e. sidestepping snipers, sliding to cover, knowing what parts of map you can or can't move on, etc.
I feel like I'm failing at weapon specializations. The way I understand them to work is: basically you are deciding whether you want to prioritize hip-fire accuracy or sight accuracy. Is that a fair assessment? I know it really boils down to personal play-style but I actively use both, depending on the situation and feel hamstrung by being forced to pick but realize I'm probably overthinking it. Curious as to how others are dealing with this...
Reference Medic 'can take a few bullets and go heal yourself'... how the hell do you survive a few bullets? It's uncommon that I get hit and don't die. I know the whole ttk issue was a big deal, but for newer bf5 players, we die so damn fast and half time I have no idea where I'm being shot from. Probably a machine gunner form 500 yards away.
I think pro tip number 1 is Learn the map everything about it. Favorite areas for people to snipe from, favorite flank routes. Example twisted steel on the bridge pushing the flag, the defending team loves to go prone with a bi pod by the pillers off to the side, assault loves to use Dynamite over the fortification that they build. Those 2 tips on that map alone will save you frustration. But as you see the patterns it will be easy to counter them.
Recently I've been loving the game, not listening to all of the negative publicity about it just enjoying "my game". Went 43-29 on a game of breakthrough this evening ,(squaded up with my brother)usually play conquest but really enjoyed breakthrough. I think you've just got to relax and be in a good place to play well. Playing in a squad with a mix of roles and with mics helps alot as well.
Hey BrokenMachine, First thing first u’r not only a war killing “broken” machine on the field of battle but more than that an amazing prolocutor. Very thanks for the work done only for our pleasure. And then the real reason I comment is a request from me to you ; hope u’ll be able to gimme the answer ‘bout the reason why I made one of my few latest mistakes in BF before reach my goal on lvl I hope for in the game. My biggest problem on the field is reading the game . For an example: when from time to time with a lot of luck I’m standing at the right place I do some crazy stuff on the field that even I can’t believe in it but most of the game I’m not at the good place and see no one or be killed in a second. Sorry ‘bout the faults I’m not an English-speaker. Always a pleasure to see a new video
I’ve placed in the top of the leaderboards more or less consistently over the years playing games such as BF1 and other fps games of similar style (not nearly to the extent of broken machine here, mind you), but BF5 is the first fps game (ffps game?) like this that has forced me to convert my play-style to that of one utilizing scopes on my guns, as apposed to my experience exclusively using iron-sights and other short range sight options. Now that i’ve been playing BF5, unless i use medic guns or full-auto assault guns, i find myself opting toward using guns with scopes on them due to the very short ttk of the guns in the game. Mid-range guns, such as the mmg guns, with their extremely short ttk and high accuracy and control at medium range, can be particularly difficult to counter in this game unless approaching the situation well-prepared. A quick headshot with the Kar 98 using the long-range scope takes out those prone/stationary pains-in-the-ass lickety-split. If you’re like me and have been hesitant to venture into the realm of not just using the iron-sights or other short-range sight options, i highly recommend trying to play with scopes on your guns. It should at least allow you to gain more understanding of how those players that do use scopes on their guns are playing, regardless of whether that play-style works for you personally, given you’ll be playing from the same perspective as they. Like i said, i’m traditionally an iron-sight man, but i believe BF5 has encouraged me enough, with it’s incorporation of the mmg guns and the all around short ttk, to start gaining more of an appreciation for playing with scopes on my guns, and i suggest that if u haven’t given guns with scopes on them a try, you should give them a try. That’s all.🤤💯
that is really SPOT ON advice. I'm finding the same thing true. I've never been a medium-long range scope user in bf games but have found that they are a real necessity on many of these maps. This game seems to prioritize medium-long range engagements unless you are constantly working small areas and buildings. I'm still trying to force myself to add the scopes though as it's just not what I'm used to. The reflex sights can seem very alluring too, at first, but from a performance standpoint are really sub-par to the iron sights.
100% agree...if you are getting owned in the game, stay back and be a bit defensive. Change your gun, class or even jump in a vehicle to change your state of mind. Then go back and kick some ass.
Medic class weapons: suomi at 981 rpm for close quarters. Tommy gun with 50 round mag for flexible close quarters and just barely beyond. MP28 for medium range. MP34 for long range
Battlefield 5 is so polarizing. I've purchased several copies for friends -- and they just don't get into it. Some of them were into BF3 and BF4 too. They just find it frustrating, boring and terribly complex to simply navigate through the menus. One guy said that it feels more complicated to learn than ARMA despite being an typical military FPS game. It seems like the people who love the game are those who spend countless hours on it. However, most new and casual players are giving up on this game. I really wish that BF5 was more like BF3.
Your the man,I think your tutorials are on point ,I started playing bf1 and after just a few months switched over to bf5 .I'm still considered a noob cause I'm always learning everytime I play.you would not believe how much better my gaming is improving just by watching you play ...your a beast ,a legend and I have watched them all your number 1 brotha .... thank you
One of the bad things that you shouldn’t do is that don’t keep changing weapons and classes in one game, before the game starts make ur mind on what style and weapon you want to use. Also, try to stick to one weapon until you master it and adjust to it, after a while you’ll find that u have mastered several weapons and styles and you have become a very good player. Cheers
A big tip I have for recon players, instead of using your rifle to search for targets, whip out the ol’ spotting scope. Firstly, there’s no glare on the scope so you’re harder to spot, secondly, marking targets can allow for kills even in low visibility, and thirdly, it helps out your team! Can’t tell you how many headshots I’ve gotten just because I aim a bit below where the spot icon is.
i found that map knowledge is critical to your K/D ratio's and predicting where enemies could creep up. this was evident in BF1 where i knew, or could predict where enemies were hiding. i just got BF5 and trying to figure out the crooks and nannies of each map is a nightmare - but that's why you just keep playing :) also focusing on one class at a time seemed to work for me instead of changing it every time i died lol (main ones are assault and support - then i'll move to medic and recon)
One of the tactics for BF I use: Set up in a position that looks over a populated foot traffic area. Not lay down and camp, but not EVERYONE needs to push the obj area. Example: OBJ C on Aerodrome. My team is pushing the flag hard from E & F side. I set up direct right side of the hanger on B side and angle myself to shoot down the small alley way outside and enemies run directly down without noticing me or hangout outside while trying to push. I get easy kills cause of this flanking fire and my team pushes and captures the flag cause I’m taking out the enemies trying to movie in or flank around. Moral of this: Pushing OBJ with the whole team can lead to getting smashed. Hold a point where enemy foot traffic is high and in a spot you’re not easily noticed. This is BF, you’re not camping a corner you are holding a point.
My biggest struggle in BFV is to see the enemies. The camouflage is so damn effective in this game and I can't understand how you manage to spot so many in medium and long range. Second biggest being killed too often. I blame the TD completely! : ) NOT a big fan of how easy it is to get killed. Compared to BF4 where I find it A LOT easier to see enemies and I often have a decent chance against the absolut top skilled players. (At least when I have full ping on my PS4.)
Really enjoying the videos and have found the advice has started to help my gameplay in general. actually made it into a top squad at the end of a match for the first time ever...keep up the good work
Really good, especially for someone like me getting super frustrated. I've started using the two target mini games in the open practice range and noticed on console how the aim assist works which makes me think I'm maybe fighting it rather than working with it. Would be great to see your thoughts on that and maybe you can show off your skills with a video of these?
I have a problem, when I throw a dynamite it glitches out, the dynamite just dissapears, then I have nothing in my hands and can't switch to any weapon. So then I just gotta die to start up again.
Worst tips ever. I'm a vet still playing hate it but addicted game looks sexy game has no content game has no premium maybe in 3months we get half a map an 3 bullets pfffftnew bullets like you can upgrade the colour why the pfffft fs. I'd pay 200pound right now for premium least I know I'm getting a game and content right now I'm waiting a year hopefully not more for the launch content
It's when you are hiding behind a wall or rocks and you get shot through those objects that's frustrating. And when enemies appear right next to you after you are constantly scouting around you.
I don't understand how you see players rushing to objectives, out in the open, racking up kills and not getting killed themselves. When I try it - instant death.
I'm a semi-veteran (BF1942, BF3, BF1). I always did fairly well around 1.5-2KD and I'm a medic main. It's just something about BFV that is throwing me off, unless I'm playing aggressively defensive, I almost always go negative. Also my main is way out of wack. I have always used default and it always worked for me, but not for BFV.
I play medic 75% of the time, and the one thing I've learned is that there LOTS of situations where your weapon is utterly useless because of range. When that happens, don't rush alone towards the enemy so you can use the smg effectively, stay behind your teammates and spam the fuck outta the med pouch, because it also starts healing people if their health isnt 100%. Between heals and revives, you'll bank as many points as the players doing the actual shooting. Until you actually push the objective, think of the SMG as a personal defense weapon to protect you rather than hurt the enemy.
i found that if as a sniper getting those head shots is just a little to hard, use the zh 40 (i think its 40. zh something) it is a two shot kill, two body shots and move to next target
I've been rocking magenta cross-hairs for as long as I've played BF. Thanks for the affirmation! I need high contrast colors to really be able to make it out.
Jump on recon and fire off some flares... you can still make a great contribution and rack up serious points. Best tips I think, is to move with purpose from cover to cover. If you feel like someone is about to come up behind you... they are. Flank always. Use smoke.
Yes definitely agree about playing Domination for practice. Fewer flags, fewer players. Everyone just running around and around so easier to work out where the other team are likely to be at any one time. Good for practicing gunplay and getting your aim in. Even I can get a positive KDR and I can’t hit a cow’s ass with a banjo.
another great imformative video Broken. i have to admit i fell into a few catagories here but after watching this i went back and found i played much better, thanks!
I’m new and am still trying to get used to the crazy amount of bullets it takes to kill someone.. maybe it’s just the starter guns? But I literally have to land 2-3 consecutive headshots for a quick kill, or it’s 5 or more and with how many ppl camp near cover, you hit them 5 times they take cover and then 3 other of their teammates have you spotted and take you down instantly before you even knew they were there
On my ps4 pro BfV don’t run even that smooth, like in your videos .Textures loading slow sometimes ,and it feels not smooth at all .I Play Bf since 1942 to Bf1 on Pc and from Bf 4 also on Ps4 .BfV is the first that runs pretty bad on console ,don’t know why .I even installed a ssd to get faster loading ,internet connection is also good at average Ping of 25 . 🤷🏼♂️
If you struggle, stay close to your squad members and capture the objective the squad leader picks. Improves your odds at not getting shot right away and gets you more points.
I think the best weapon for the medic its the Thompson, great rate of fire, 50 round drum and good at medium range and if you can single shot without going full auto good for long range.
Hi Broken, You are great with the commentary same goes with the instruction video. I really liked your settings guide really helpfull. Keep it up mate! Cheers, Cheese.
I am a pushing medic. I dont mind the guns. I just want a video game where 2-3 bullets is kill. 5-6 bullets is a little ridiculous. I love the visual realism of the game. When I peak I dont see red outlines for enemies. You have to see them to know where they are and that's great. Other games fail to give that. Removing spotting was the best decision they made. All grenades including smoke need to be more effective.
I think domination is probably the toughest mode for a new player. Teamplay and playing the objective are key, else it’s gonna be a wild ride. Obv u could prone an MG.
Totally agree!! The days that I am just enjoying the game are my best days, even my aim improve " area that I still struggle" Anyway I play medic all the time and I play My role. I ended having more Points at the end with 0-1 Kills! hahaha! Thanks for this Video TheBrokenMachine!
Thanks Broken. Good tips. I need to look at upgrading weapons and check out Domination. And honestly, this video was great. If you hadn’t said it was unscripted, I don’t think I would have known. It was as good as any of your other videos. Very well done. You have a great way of communicating your thoughts and perspectives clearly, and they’ve helped me out a lot.
If you play the medic a lot use smoke as much as you can. It’s the medic’s most helpful gadget in my opinion because it helps me get close to my enemies without getting dying.
Nice tutorial! Very helpfull, even tho i played every title since battlefield 1942 your tips help me a lot! Sometimes whatever i try i just cant get into the flow, mostly because im getting frustrated and start thinking too much about my moves what makes it only worse. Actually when i was playing bf1 and i was struggling i just kept thinking about your tips while playing and mostly it went much better. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Broken for this excellent video! I'm a noob at online fps games, my aim is so off I feel like a knifethrowing artist... At first I was rushing objectives getting killed all the time and getting no points. Now I use a more midrange style, getting more kills and less deaths but I am always too late on the objective for points. Maybe a little too campy? This video gives me some tools to make a next step!!
Love your videos you do a great job of keeping this game going and not bitching about it like a lot of other youtubers. Ive used a lot of your tips for this game and my games just keep getting better and better iam enjoying it a lot more and actually getting a decent amount of kills and dieing a lot less so Thankyou!!!
Great tips. I've flanked around the back but always find myself alone and near the enemy spawn. Gonna try the Medic class more often. Joining squad with headphones has been the best experience and usually very rewarding. Give em hell!
Awesome tutorial & ive always loved the medic class but now its my least used because of the weak weapons but im going to give it another go. I think that im in a terminal slump that i may not recover from. Am i a veteran, well not of battlefield but+ of fps gaming in general but ive been at it for around 20 years and 3 in bf, but was cod exclusive for along time. bf1 was my 1st, since then Ive bought bf4 & bf3, those are excellent games. Ima 61 year old gamer & im seeing my end to gaming life rapidly approching & it sucks. A car crash took my right wrist & 5 vertabras in my lower back. Some strange nerve damage causes me constant pain & that may be why I've been losing eyesight too fast, i can't see well so i miss shots and i I can't see shit, my reflexes are nonexistent & im missing my shots. I watched this with hope cause being a gamer isnt just playing games....its a way of life. I cant sleep cause of discomfort so im getting up & trying out yor tips but i do get frustrated. Medic class here i come. Maybe I can revive, revive, revive... The game for me turned to crqp about the same time dice nerfed the weapons and continue today.
I’m struggling with consistency throughout the maps. I like playing Assault, but find myself never being able to get near the vehicles so I have to settle for playing Medic some games.
There's a few options added into the settings from you last did an update Brokenmachine. Do you think they are important enough that you could address them in a video? Thanks.
Ok, I'll try. I literally ptfo too much. MP28 in BF1 had PTFO etched on the stock. I'm going to run with the tommy gun for a while. EMP has done wonders for me. I use a black reticle, bright colors just get it in the way.
Whether you're a new player or a seasoned veteran.. I'm sure we've all had moments of pure struggle.. here's some of my advice, got any of your own?
Yea, get gud.
Nice.
Im not enjoying the game at the moment, lots of campers, the visibility is shit, the netcode is shit, the defensive playstyle is shit. Yes - the dreaded "tilt". I find if you're in a bad one, the only way out s to stop playing, usually until the next day.

At least in BF1 you can see the enemy. Battlefield V graphics are horrible

I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I like how people blend in more to the invironment. I use it to my advantage. Lol
I hate how snipers are never one shot kills. It’s stupid. So many times I’ve sniped a guy from like 30m and it does like 40 damage.
I always play bad when focusing too much on weapon assignments
same lol
@@sidmas-zj5eu i know right but the gold skin looks too good
I need at least 1 gold gun each class currently got gold ribeyrolles and bren almost got sten too in about week and a half
Same yo. I used to not care about assignments and would fly through them. Cause I wanted to play and learn the maps. Now I focus on assignments and it's just frustrating. Need to switch playing mentality.
yes when you need the hipfire kills you dont aim, he he i know is like this for me too
I played BF1942, 1943 and 2142 on PC a LOT.
Then start another class - I here good things about medic :-)
Vehicles are ok, planes are still a no-go for me.

You'ren not a PC player, you're a snob elitist.
Thanks man you really reminded me how important not worrying about the score board is. Great tutorial.
Use smoke as a medic, as much as you can. Use smoke.
Yes man, smoke is the most underrated tool in the game.
Smoke Smoke Smoke!
I'd say use it except when you're creeping up on a flag, then it can alert the enemies - unless you use it to misdirect them.
Smoke grenades are the most important part of my medic loadout
smoke is easy cover so under used but so effective
But I would also love to see him do the type of videos you're suggesting as him describing his thought process throughout each play would be greatly beneficial to all of us lesser mortals.
colorblind mode ative
His cross hair on fjell was green
Take chances once and a while, dont always try to be safe.
1. its only a game
2. sometimes your taking silly chances will actually do you well and the enemy wont expect it. (I drove a jeep full speed into the highly populated enemy zone and got 6 kills as they smashed into my vehicle)
Awesome!
That’s how u win medals… The game is very hard that’s why people have it a bad score. It’s realistic in that you will lose a lot because that’s war
Medic class isn’t bad, you just have to know how to use it
Andrew the type of guy to not understand that the class is clearly inferior to the others
@@term3092 Or you are just shite at the game
Stubby 338 consistently top of the board but meh why bother arguing with kids who can't admit facts
They need to get rid of the hit 99 damage. It's so annoying with the smgs
6:10 "Don't try to push too much, stay with your team" *Wipes out aeorodrome by himself*
I play tactically so not running out in the open for too long, checking corners and clearing each floor before settling, and always watch for snipers
bro its not csgo, no one will site in corners
"play defensive, take your time"
Show a clip of him going rambo and throw dynamite at people XD
I love playing medic, i have the thompson and mp40 in full gold 💙💪
Best medic weaps👌 same here. Mp40 allround distance, tommy for close combat only.
Nice I have all medic weapons gold except ZK 383 and I only have two more parts for it! Medic gang forever!
I can tell you lying you didn’t have to say all that 😂
Yeah medic class is great its my favourite its underrated a lot
100% agree...if you are getting owned in the game, stay back and be a bit defensive. Change your gun, class or even jump in a vehicle to change your state of mind. Then go back and kick some ass.
Medic class weapons: suomi at 981 rpm for close quarters. Tommy gun with 50 round mag for flexible close quarters and just barely beyond. MP28 for medium range. MP34 for long range
The MP28 definitely isnt good for midrange, use the STEN instead

Battlefield 5 is so polarizing. I've purchased several copies for friends -- and they just don't get into it. Some of them were into BF3 and BF4 too. They just find it frustrating, boring and terribly complex to simply navigate through the menus. One guy said that it feels more complicated to learn than ARMA despite being an typical military FPS game. It seems like the people who love the game are those who spend countless hours on it. However, most new and casual players are giving up on this game. I really wish that BF5 was more like BF3.
Don't focus too much on what you have to say, focus on what you want to say.
Love the commentaries so far man!
Cheers
100% agree on taking step back if in a slump. Support your squad as much as you can. It all adds up.
Great vid. Agree with the frustration aspect. I get that when i try to grind a weapon or class upgrade and my focus is only one aspect of the game.
I’ve always been a medic class person I love medic, in bf 1 it was amazing my highest kills with that was 49-12
Dude ı need aim tips
Just watch his other guides, and also BF1 aiming guides. Same applies to BFV.
He's got tons of videos including aim tips and game settings. Very helpful.
Same here! Bf vet yet I find this new iteration very hard to kill!
@Cow and Bunga dont do as the PRANSERCISE lady says " punch into space not in the face"!
Try adjusting your sensitivity. Then play some domination so u can try it out. Do your best to snap to targets before ADS
Really enjoying the videos and have found the advice has started to help my gameplay in general.
actually made it into a top squad at the end of a match for the first time ever...keep up the good work
Ty for the info
Great stuff! I'm really trying to chill more. Your streams are a great way to see "chill" in action.
He actually turns off aim assist.
@Time Code bummer. That is crazy. Makes the practice game somewhat pointless.
I have a problem, when I throw a dynamite it glitches out, the dynamite just dissapears, then I have nothing in my hands and can't switch to any weapon. So then I just gotta die to start up again.
If I see you, you switch soooo fast from weapon to dynamite. I also don't have any lag or something.
Got the same problem here ! It's very annoying to switch from weapons. It's slow as hell
Try using a cabled connection rather than a WIFI connection, could be a netcode/ data bug.
@@elbowsyoutub I do use cabled internet...
I know some people have lowered their MTU to get rid of bugs but it’s a bit complicated I hear. Helps with packet loss.
Thanks for guide Broken. As always, love your approach and attitude. Thank you Sir.
Hi BrokenMachine. I was really missing another guide vid for bf5 .Thanks for upload mate. Cheers
And when enemies appear right next to you after you are constantly scouting around you.
last BF i've played was bad company 2, so this is like a whole new world for me. having a lot of trouble. thanks for the tips.
Keep on playing, new stuff will pop up to you, its a great game...
Use the Bren Gun with the 3x scope. Love it 💪🏻♥️
good vid my k/d is 2.0 but i'm hoping to up it and capture more objectives thanks to your advice
I don't understand how you see players rushing to objectives, out in the open, racking up kills and not getting killed themselves. When I try it - instant death.
He kills them first 🤷🏻♂️ If only I wasn't a useless shot. I'm the spray and pray kinda guy.
Can you make a pilot/plane tips video? I've always sucked at flying and always seem to get shot down before I can even try anything.
Communication really helps. If you can squad up with mics and work together, you'll have an advantage vs lone wolves.
i found that if as a sniper getting those head shots is just a little to hard, use the zh 40 (i think its 40. zh something) it is a two shot kill, two body shots and move to next target
Recently found my way to glory as support. I have you to thank BrokenMachine.
another great imformative video Broken. i have to admit i fell into a few catagories here but after watching this i went back and found i played much better, thanks!
Awesome tutorial TBM! Been really struggling with this one and have to remember to calm down constantly.
Would really like to know though how you spot enemies so well ask I try Vviaa the mini map but nothing shows most of the time.
Thanks man
Bro you have the best tutorials on Battlefield!
Great advice 👍 pleased someone has taken the time out to help ✌🏴
Yesterday I was playing and I was struggling a lot 😑.... but let me watch this vid now ‼️
If you struggle, stay close to your squad members and capture the objective the squad leader picks. Improves your odds at not getting shot right away and gets you more points.
Thanks Broken for your time and advice.
Great advice - I still suck, but hopefully starting suck in a more chilled out manner. Cheers!
Straight up veteran, scout and medic main. OP pilot and a hella of a tanker.
Im not a trash medic I pick up teammates, not just squad mate's. I also throw med packs at people who need it.
Thank you for your helpful and honest opinion, great insight in the thoughts of a true veteran :) keep being the person you are.
I think the best weapon for the medic its the Thompson, great rate of fire, 50 round drum and good at medium range and if you can single shot without going full auto good for long range.
is the hip fire any good?
Hi Broken,
You are great with the commentary same goes with the instruction video.
Just got this today! Cant wait to play it later when I get off work
You did very well!! Be you man, be natural.
Great tutorial and tips TBM. keep up the great work.
Awesome tutorial & ive always loved the medic class but now its my least used because of the weak weapons but im going to give it another go. I think that im in a terminal slump that i may not recover from. Am i a veteran, well not of battlefield but+ of fps gaming in general but ive been at it for around 20 years and 3 in bf, but was cod exclusive for along time. bf1 was my 1st, since then
Ive bought bf4 & bf3, those are excellent games.
Good luck buddy, keep the faith. Medic as a supporting role sounds like a good idea.
@@nevmalik1 Thank you. I haven't played bf5 in a long time till last night & while it wasnt perfect, it was a good game.
so all the mines and bouncing bettys that you set vanish when you die?
Machine, your science is correct! First round of my day MVP with the medic class. Let's get in there and have Battlefield moments people!
Nice to see that you have an emblem showing on your weapon. Certainly can't get mine to show
Do you have user generated content turned off in options?
I have a question, what is the point of conquest and squad conquest when only the kills count for victory?
Love your voice
=O glad you do!
Definitely the best tip-video I've seen
Yea I agree medic class is so underrated I use it a lot
I’m struggling with consistency throughout the maps. I like playing Assault, but find myself never being able to get near the vehicles so I have to settle for playing Medic some games.
Anybody got any tips for being jerky on the sticks? I find I either undershoot moving the crosshairs to my target or overshoot
I see zero recoil. I haven't seen a weapon in BF5 without recoil.
colaboytje You need to control your recoil.
Ribeyeroles is a laser beam with bipod
its soo easy to control recoil in bfv
Just played my 1st round on Domination and got 52-6, that was quite a fun round! Cheers TBM, very good tips there 👍
I always recommend your videos to my team mates!
