THANK YOU! This is the kind of content that nobody else (that I've found at least) is doing. My issue is that I am able to build strong and consistent lists, but I struggle with snap strategy. I've got lists with like 65% win rate, but break even cube rates. PLEASE keep posting these with example analysis. I would also love to see videos on early game opponent play patterns to help predict their late game moves. Examples: -All 2 costs likely mean Cerebro 2 -Turn 5 skip with Sunspot could mean Infinaut -Open Lane = Galactus etc.... I really struggle with determining whether I'm in early advantage as well. Every time I try to get in their head with a snap, they drop some off the wall late game pattern that wrecks me.
Thanks for this. I really appreciate the way you explain and teach how to evaluate not only your hand, but the board. Figuring out 1st turns has been plaguing me lately, so this was awesome.
Great discussion on snapping when you've got an advantage, even if it's not guaranteed. I also liked your thoughts on location lock downs and benefits/costs of staying vs leaving. Important to know if your deck favors or is hindered by a reduced board!
It will take some time to understand the exact snapping tempo for each deck though. Some decks like discard before MODOK release are just too reliant on RNG to convincingly snap early.
This is kind of unrelated to this video. But I just wanna say THANK YOU for that sandman decklist you posted recently. It's made me climb higher than ever and also simplifies end game turns for me. Making it easier to predict what they gonna do since they can only play 1 card. I appreciate it 🙏 still struggling on when to snap since I'm not too confident with it yet but still learning
Great content, really instructive. I'd love to see more on that style. Maybe a full match analysis if you thinks it would help illustrate some match decisive decision. Thanks you and keep up the great work.
In the 3rd example, I think the disclaimer here is that this is a battle mode, and for battle mode strat may be a little bit not the same (not as aggressive). Because on the ladder you have an infinite number of games and you can always snap early on a good hand in the long run u have a lot of games to back up cubes if needed, but the battle mode has just 10 cubes you can play with, so you need to be a little bit more accurate. Thank you for the vid!
Great video, I think you could've put more enphasis on the basic concepts of when does the snap come into effect, the fact that you never need to retreat unless cubes are gonna double next turn (snap or turn 6) and how you basically always want to retreat later instead of retreat, but the in depth insight was all on point! thanks
I love the turn by turn analysis you did here also in your stream of the clash tournament. Keep it up. In a Poker game you can raise the stakes more heavily. In snap there is a max limit so turn 1 snapping is not the best. Because the two other locations not revealed. Opponent hasn't showed their cards so much more RNG still to come. although sometimes it can work like Prof x in sakaar scenario. Free fast cubes.
Do you know what the final version of that discard list at 18:00 was? I am running a similar list in early pool 3 without the collector/moon girl package. Instaed I use wong/moon knight, but the collector/moon girl is super creative. Also still missing mystique :(
Im a infinite player too :o, climb with a control deck and farmed confindent player who snap turn 1 with their big ass plays, shuri, patriot. So funny, you have to be prepared for the potential lose if you snap turn 1. Great content by the way👌🏻😎
Only 20 seconds into the video but if your opponent is taking their time they could be bluffing it's what I do I make it look as tho I think I've lost and in reality I'm waiting for them to press the snap button 😂
By the way, I was thinking about your token and shop guides and the fact that second dinner is now adding 4 new cards in pool 3 each month… Given all your calculations (like one pool 3 card every 4 reserves opened and one pool 4/5 card each month), we are suppoded to get on average about 7 new pool 3 cards each month. But then, how can we complete pool 3 if they add each month 4 new cards while we can only get 7?… Does it mean they are gona increase the drop rate for the pool 3 cards very soon ? Like 1 new pool 3 cards every 2 or 3 reserves opened. What do you think about that?
@@EducatedCollinsSnap Sorry I wasnt clear enough. I m french, my english is not good enough :). I get a new card every 3 or 4 days by doing all the missions. So 30 days divided by 3 or 4 gives about 9 cards. But each month we win a pool 4 card. So 9-1 gives 8 new pool 3 cards each month through the reserves (instead of the 7 Inpreviously said).
And each month they are adding 3 cards in pool 3 (not 4 like I thought). So we unlock about 8 pool 3 cards each month while they add 3 new ones each month. Even if it s not as bad as I was suggesting, the time to complete pool 3 is gona significantly increase.
@@dgeci Ahh I see. Yeah we get 10 cards normally per month with 1 being a series 3 so yeah only 9 series 3 cards per month. We get to catch up whenever we can buy good bundles and use the credits from that resource.
I'll say you can get at least 10 Series-3 cards and 1 Series-4 card each month (roughly 530CL/month -> 44 Reserve Chest -> 11 base cards) if you plan it out properly (only upgrade a card if it can reach Infinite split, always upgrade Common/grey border card to Uncommon/green border, except for 12 cards). And my calculation didn't even include any credits you can receive from Season Cache level 51+ or any rank reward. If you push hard on the rank reward and Season Cache grind, you might be able to squeeze in another Series-3 card, and you can use token purchase for another Series-3 card (not recommended for late game though). Not to mention using your free Gold to purchase bundles that include Credits. So, it's definitely more than 7 cards like you thought.
With all due respect, any advise given by yourself or people st the same sort of level is not really conducive to why's the rest of us see, we don't fight predominantly bots so those enchantresses exist a a lot more in the the earlier ranks.
I’m aware of that and trying to give advice for the player vs player matchups. It’s why I don’t put gameplay in the channel atm, it’s just not helpful for most people.
@@EducatedCollinsSnap I Agree completely the lack of "love" from the devs at the top end of the ladder is hindering your ability to give your insights in a meaningful way. I dont mean to come across as obtuse as you are without doubt a superior skilled palyer with a lot to give. Could it be worth making a new account and using gameplay from that doing a free to play journey as to slow down your own progession to a degree. Would be nice to see your annotations as you play through the ranks
That's basically like taking too long on a turn and then someone snaps because they think you're struggling with your next play. Gotta punish the psychology

wow i really love this type of content, it is so unique and very helpful
More to come!
@@EducatedCollinsSnap Hi only missing mystique I know she can't replaceable but still what to play until I got her
Always interesting to hear your thoughts
“How you doin?”
It is so funny everytime
It's simultaneously comforting and sinister.
I should add a muhahaha to one of them

Loved the poker analogy on snapping/leaving
Thanks for all the insightful videos. This helped me realize snapping doesn't have to be saved until my wins appear guaranteed.
You want to snap one turn before it is apparent (to your opponent) that you are likely to win.

Another Banger by EduCollins!
Be cool if SD added audio variants to the game. I'd pay money for an educated collins variant of Iron Man: "I AM Iron Man. How ya doin'?"

Woke up to an EducatedCollins vid. You know it's going to be a good day :D
Boy do I have news for you…. In 2 hours haha
Very good video. Thanks for all the guides.
Glad you like them!
In regards to turn timer not always true I usually don't end turn until near the end of the timer even when i'm super confident
Another excellent video.
Thanks again!
The best content ever. Because it shows us how we think. Do , at least, this “strategy teaching”, 1 time/week please
Since I do not have Doom yet, i use Skrull.....SOMETIMES it is so nice to have Skrull
I look at the game like playing chess you have to look at the boarder and plan 3 moves ahead on move 1
Great series

The amount of people that wait till turn 6 to snap on their guaranteed win is crazy, all you are doing is loosing one cube.

How is your bot farming going?
i like to pretend i'm screwed turn 6 and stall, emote that i'm losing, etc to bait snaps. It's pretty degenerate but amusing and cubes are cubes
