I am no stranger to mixing electronic music together in front of people, from trance to techno, 90s jungle to witch house, but ill be honest, i would not know where to begin mixing or choosing which songs to play in a breakcore set, fucking music is deranged, and i love it!
I would like to be present for a hypothetical Venetian Snares gig a large European cathedral. The set would be in broad daylight, sometimes in the late morning, with brilliant sun shining through the stained glass windows, a modest but powerful rig and V Snares blasting perhaps this exact set from a set of decks stationed dead centre, raised on a platform where the sermons are usually held. Little sips of paper might detail a track list. And I would sit in perfect silent reverence, close my eyes, and see God. And at the end of the set I would then get up, file out of a side-door, disperse anonymously into the crowds, and carry on with my day.
Where he's from, there's an old abandoned monastery that would be home to a lot of the early to mid 2000s underground raves. So, you're close. The venue was just ravaged by time, and there was only a brief period where there was any sunlight.

You could say Jungle is some kind of Breakcore, but most Breakcore isn't Jungle. Breakcore has less limits when it comes to other instruments and bpm.

You could say Jungle is some kind of Breakcore, but most Breakcore isn't Jungle. Breakcore has less limits when it comes to other instruments and bpm.

nope. Jungle has an clearly understandable *beat*, while Breakcore has many and no limits in arranging them. Every music has some kind of rhythm, otherwise it woldnt be music.
