Everyone put a lot of emphasis on it being “10” and it should be extra special. But I couldn’t tell you what Tom Ford or Natasha Denona palette was the tenth, or whether it was “special”. How many neutral brown palettes does Dior and Chanel have and they aren’t being dragged like Pat is? This looks fantastic on you and you were the first review I’ve seen of it. Glad you took the leap.

I think that’s true, but PMG numbered the palettes and the other brands didn’t. I think the difference with pat is that she has a legacy of being innovative and creative. Especially as the brand started out, the products were really really cool and different than everything else.
I think for a $128 palette with only ten shades, the rose and plum shades should be way more different. I would make the plum one a burgundy brown or the rose one something else completely. Of the two, I like the plum better. But I REALLY do love the taupe and the platinum colors. They would be GORGEOUS together! Or the plum and the VR Sexstacyone together. Wow!
I agree that one of the mattes could of been different! It would have really changed up the looks that you can create! I also really do love the taupey colors in this palette! It really has a cool vibe!

I expected so much more from this palette colour wise, I was hoping for green, blue, purple… have to admit I was disappointed when it was revealed. But every look I’m seeing created with this palette is so incredibly beautiful 😻 yours is no exception!

At this point, she’s just appeasing the investors. Motherships 1, 2, and 3 came along when she had more creative control & before major investors came along.
I agree, she’s making for the masses but then it’s what actually sells most.

The final look is gorgeous!!! I'm starting to like this palette more and more but I find pairing it with other palettes works best for me. I also use her single shade Statuesque alot as a transition. I think if the plum shade was replaced w Statuesque, it would have made a near perfect palette! That and the lilac shade a little less silver and more lilac, lavendar in color. Paired it with The Mothership 1 Subliminal and it just meshed together perfectly!
Loved the eye swatches too! The VR sextacy works perfect as a one and done due to the shift!
I agree that I will probably use this as a companion palette!! Statuesque is a great shade!

This is the first video I see about mother Pat 10 & I’m so happy to see your video !!! Thank you for nice video! Few years ago I had to walk to the station through the park quite soon in the morning and I got amazed by moon light. I think what this palette really does is catching the main real shifts of the moon light - all the cool light gold mixing with the sparkly silverness, which shifts sometimes to more blue or grey colours ... Perfect! BUT. As somebody who just doesn´t look good with cool eyeshadows I am sad about this palette. Even more sad, because this palette - except of being overwhelmingly shimmery - screams "every day", what I like. I just miss there little bit of warmth. I hoped for one of the plums to be more peachy and lighter in intensity. I understand grey here, not so much the plums, but I really miss some middle shade neutral or warm eyeshadow (beige, greenish brown, lilac or so). For now I just have to accept that this is not palette for me.

Yes. I'm waiting to see what will come. I honestly only don't like the rosewood and plum mattes. Otherwise I like all the others. I recreated a look that Mikayla did with my other motherships. Granted the gold astrals texture is different but it was a similar look

Gotta say that this color story is my style, but for pat value, I don’t think is the smartest choice. The mauve shades are too similar
I was so surprised about the mauves. It’s so hard to tell what the shades look like from her Instagram pics and reels!
As a very pale girl, I use the skinshow as a blend out color. Especially because PMG eyeshadows are so rich and pigmented, and tend to be on the deeper end, I’d have trouble getting anything other than a really dark and grungy look without the skinshow shades. And because I have more deepest eyes, I don’t like the look of really high contrast dark eye makeup. In my Bronze Seduction palette I’m about to hit pan on the Skinshow Divine Glow and all of my other Motherships have indentations in only that one shade.

@@BeautyAndTheFrizz Hannah Louise Poston had mentioned it on her review of the Midnight Sun Palette, that blending out on fair skin was another intended purpose of the skinshow shades and that the midtone coppery shimmers that are in every Mothership were designed to serve the same function on medium and dark complexions.
Thank you for sharing, love the look with this palette, you look stunning. I live in the Netherlands, prices gone up so high, I just wait for sale or secondhand, but love to have it.

I took a random spray top off of an empty setting spray bottle and it fit the mixing medium. That’s another way ppl can do it if they don’t have or want to buy an empty bottle. I think the top is standard size so any old spray top would work.

Desma (Devinah) is one of my favorite matte shadows, and the first 2 mattes you swatched look just like it, so this feels like a palette made to complement Desma, wich is nice.

Thanks for the video. I will just wait for this beauty to arrive for the vib sale. I'm a PMGLABS collector and my collection is huge. I can dupe all of these colors, even the special shades. I can definitely see this being my everyday work palette, along with Mothership I and VII. The matte shades kind of remind me of Lime Crime Venus I palette and the special shades are actually really dupeable if you own any basic indie shadows (clionadh). Still, it is super pretty and will be mine at 20% off 😂

Hi there no worries!!! I’d say the Isamaya Palette. I do have a video up for that too. The thing with Isamaya is that you may need to pull in another palette for mattes. But overall true Isamaya palette is really different and I love the tones. I’d choose Isamaya and then get Pat on sale. Now as far as ease, the Pat palette is super easy to use even for beginners in my opinion where as the Isamaya palette has different formulas and textures that may not be easy for all to use. I hope this helps but reach back out if it didn’t!

So beautiful and it's amazing that you got this so fast. I am happy to report that I don't think I'll buy this one. It's very disappointing that two of the mattes look so similar. I don't understand why brands do that. Also, the shimmers, although super beautiful, look too sparkly/textured for me. I wish she would make a mothership with more mattes and some smooth toned down metallics (like the texture of mac satin taupe comes to mind but more dimensional). I know that is the unpopular opinion though. I have 5 motherships already and I love them but I don't use them anymore.
I agree. I feel like the shimmers are tooo intense for me, and I loveee shimmers way more than mattes. And those 2 mattes look the same smh! DR2 and MS are my favs so far, love those 2
I can understand all of your thoughts for sure!!! Sometimes I’m not in the mood for the super sparkly shades myself! I think many people prefer the toned down shimmers!!

i love vr sextreme for its subtlety 😂.. more than the two sparkly shades in huetopian (the colors are a little tween for me)…and i like the color story of the mattes.
i will likely pass on this one but want to eventually get Huetopian now that i know what this one looks like. but maybe i should wait for Mothership II in case she improves upon herself again aha.

Images of this palette are sucking me in hard. I am currently resisting it because I haven't even opened Huetopian Dream, but I know she will come home with me sooner rather than later.

It’s not as pink as I thought so that’s a plus.. I ordered it on launch day it will be here Friday but honestly If it wasn’t PM I wouldn’t have given it a second look, just because I’m not that excited about it but that means nothing because I wasn’t excited about divine rose 1 in fact the only reason I bought it was because it was on sale and it was the last one I needed to complete my collection but once I used it I fell in love it’s actually my fav out of all of the MS’s.
Yeah I actually like Divine Rose also! I really didn’t care for it at first. I will see how I feel about this one after some time passes!

The thing is I don't use those blitz/shimmer colors like that but as you said after we've had all colors she just said to herself "I'm gonna tone it down but still give some sparkle"..another thing is the gold..I can appreciate that's it wayyy different than the others so I can use this one instead cause i hate gold on my eyes. Wish Pat would take every purple shade of each palette that is already made and just put it in one purple palette! She wouldn't have to create anything new even-just combine them all into one palette. I adore purple but no one will do a true purple palette. Other palettes are marketed as such but they seem like shades of pink😕

I was on Temptalia's blog and she had a review of this palette. I asked my SO how much he thought this palette cost. He said $16, I started laughing and told him $128. He really didn't have a response. 😝😝 Considering most of my palettes are under $20 I don't think he realizes how pricey some palettes are. Plus it's rare that I drop a significant amount of money on a palette, it's just something I don't do often.
